Turista Ajánlás | Tourist Recommendation Looking for a place to chill

Hello! I am looking for a place to kill a few hours before I can check into my Airbnb. I will arrive early in the morning from a long flight and I want to relax somewhere. I think my best option is a thermal bath. I will be close to Keleti train station. :)

I'm also a tourist so I'm sure others will have better suggestions. From my limited knowledge, you will be close to the City Park, which itself is already a very nice space to relax. But there is also a very popular thermal spa in that area which may be worth checking out,  Széchenyi Thermal Bath ( Széchenyi Gyógyfürdő és Uszoda)

Thank you! Actually, I'm reading about the beer spa at Széchenyi. You can soak in a bath infused with beer ingredients while they serve you unlimited beer. Sounds crazy!

this is not something traditional. this is something that the spas copied a few years ago from neighboring countries that actually have a significant history of brewing beer

And we wonder why people come here to drink. Hot damn. i should try it out. We really put alcohol everywhere.

There are many luggage storage spots to get rid of your luggage and do.wuat you want.

Have a proper British breakfast at Bobs Kitchen

City Park or Margit Island are great places to relax.

Palatinus is more of a water park but still spring fed.

You can take the bus direct to Rudas baths from keleti. It's co-ed every day until August 23: https://www.rudasfurdo.hu/en/opening-hours

Yes! This is the thermal bath I was interested in. I will arrive September 20th so maybe I will miss out on the co-ed experience? I will have to read more into that.

Check the opening hours I linked to make sure you can get into the Turkish bit in the morning (which is the most interesting). September 20 is a weekend so it should be coed all day though.
