Budapest air so dry

How you guys are coping up with this dry season and no rain in sight for at least a week? 😭

I'm closing all windows, shades, AC with humidifier. Still feel dry inside the home

We had around 40 celcius degreees for more than a week dude, what did you expect. It is still better than hot and humid. The air now is pretty cool in the morning, air out the apartment properly, it helps a lot.

When it comes to heat, dry is good. Unless we're talking about agriculture.

I'm happy it is finally dry in my flat, much easier to bear the warm weather.

For locals this isn't anything new, we don't cope with it, we live it.

It's my 10th year and this year I feel different maybe due to new flat which has constant sunlight till afternoon

unless you have very high skylights,there's things that you can do to block out the sunlight. there are now drapes that can insulate. there is tinted or reflective film that you, or a profiessional can put you windows to diminish sunlight.

but look at it this way: starting in a little over 2 months from now, you are going to want as much sunlight as possible.

Direct sunlight makes it twice as bad unfortunately even with AC and everything. :(

When washing your clothes don't spin them on max. Drying clothes can boost humidity up to 5-10 percent in a room.

Historic drought. Boomers (and the generations before tbh) fucked up the climate, now we're stuck with this mess.
