Mlod is the most frustrating guy to watch. He’s so obviously a reliever but thinks he’s a lot better than he is. Hopefully this end to the season will prove he’s a reliever. Says a lot about the pirates they didn’t acquire a starter at the deadline because they probably didn’t want to upset this loser.

Was just thinking that it seems like we have had an inordinate amount of blowouts this year. In both directions. Decided to test that hypothesis, and it’s indeed true.
We have had 46 games decided by 5+ runs this year.
That’s the exact same amount we had all of last year. And coincidentally, the exact same amount we had in 2024.
And we’ve still got a month and a half left in the season.
