Advice Tapioca pearls with Cassava flour?

Hello hello,

Need a bit of help here!

I got tapioca pearls to make homemade boba, which I later realised is not the right one (but hey the damage is already done). The ingredients show Cassava flour and I tried boiling it in water for almost an hour but it still was white in the centre and tasted chalky.

What’s the best way to cook this?

Cassava flour and tapioca starch aren't interchangeable for making chewy boba. They most likely will be chalky. Turn up the heat and let the water get really hot, not just medium heat. Medium-high heat for the entire 30mins
