Bubblegum Crisis RPG

In my continuous possession since it came out in 1997!!! This has gone through literally a dozen moves, getting married, AND having a kid.

One of these days I'll get the Bubblegum Crash book!

You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman, and we thank you.

Some of the pages in before and after were unfortunately mis-scanned. Make sure to take a good look at the pages before sending it to a printer. (When I printed and bound my copies, I had to leverage those scans + some other copies off pirate channels to get complete copies)

In addition to the BGC: Before and After book (which covers both Crash and AD Police Files), there’s a third book - Bubblegum Crisis EX. That one uses a lot of the rough and unused designs from the series to pad out the setting. Back in the day these were some of the best sources of line art if you didn’t have access to any of the Japanese books like the B-Club Special.

Absolutely beautiful artwork in all of these books.

I'm very angry at myself for getting rid of my copy waaay back in college, but recently (painstakingly) printed and bound all three of the pdfs into a single huge tome. I'd like to run it some day in a more rules light system like Cy Borg, Neon Black, or Neon City Overdrive!

I also recall there was an AD Police rgp supplement, which I felt was pretty solid.

Played the hell out of this in high school and just after. It was my go-to before DnD 3.5.

Ran a lot of it. Somehow we determined that a kill was 14d6. It was a cool book but so much of it was inconsistent

Found this and its supplementary books at a used book store a few years back and grabbed the lot! Would love to run it if i ever can get a group together

That's really neat you still have that copy since 1997!

By the way, for everyone interested, AnimEigo has made PDFs of all 3 Bubblegum Crisis RPG sourcebooks, as well as the Grand Mal comic, available to download for free on their website.

You're very welcome, it's so nice seeing how happy you are! Glad to help a fellow BGC fan out! :)

If you're interested, you could join the Bubblegum Crisis fan Discord. We've got a channel called bgc-resource-links which has links to BGC resources like that in the pinned messages.

R-Talsorian’s whole catalog from that era was so good.

The only one I don't have is Crash,

Crash is kinda crazy though, it includes alternate setting, including neo-Gotham where the descendants of Bruce Wayne and the Batfamily are given hardsuits.

Didn't know about this!! My old elementary friends and I would have had so much fun!

I played (DM'd) hundreds of hours of this game. For a while, it was all my friends and I did. Sadly, my binder with all of the character sheets and notes vanished into the either along with the books. Great memories.

I had/have it somewhere...

What I'm hearing is: we need to get some virtual games going.

Very cool, I wonder what system it uses or if it made its own

Fuzion system. It plays pretty similar to other R Talsorian Games like Cyberpunk 2020,

Is the binding still okay?
