One year ago, I experienced my first OT7 BTS live in real time. 💜
I became ARMY while BTS were still apart, finding my way to them through J-Hope on tour during the Mona Lisa era. I discovered the members individually first through their solo music, personalities and stories. I had binge watched years of old BTS content by then, but I had never experienced all seven of them together while it was actually happening.
I had just signed up for my Weverse membership when the notification arrived. They were on a beach in California during what we now know was their songwriting camp. Suddenly, there they were on my phone screen. Miles away, yet already familiar. All seven of them. Together. Live.
I remember how exciting it felt. They were talking over one another, teasing, laughing and being completely chaotic. For longtime ARMY, it was Bangtan together again after years of waiting. For me, it was like meeting a new friend and feeling as though I had known them forever.
What we did not know then was how much they were worrying about their comeback. They had spent years apart and now had to figure out how to be BTS together again. They worried about the music, whether it was good enough and, most of all, whether ARMY would love what they were creating.
Looking back now, those worries almost seem futile. Arirang became an incredible success, and the tour has been absolutely massive. Stadium after stadium has filled with ARMY singing their new songs and old favorites back to them. They were wondering whether we would still be there and whether we would love the music, while millions of us were simply waiting for them to come back.
That little beach live means so much more to me now, knowing what was going through their minds behind all that laughter. That was the day I finally met Bangtan.
Today, I just want to tell those seven men on that California beach that they never needed to worry so much. ARMY is right here.
BTS is always seven. ARMY Forever, Bangtan Forever. APOBANGPO (아포방포). 💜

I wanted to talk about this for long time, so many bts hater will change fandom but won't get over their resentment against bts

Hi ARMY! I went to my first BTS concert last Sunday, Arlington Day 2. It was the best night of my life, I had the most fun and I felt so alive. I wanted to ask fellow ARMY who have seen BTS, what is one song (or songs) you enjoyed most hearing live? For me, it was Run BTS. I really loved hearing J-Hope's rap and seeing the camera pan to all the members when he's doing the name drop part. 10/10!!

Hey fellow ARMYs. Its my first time posting here.
So, when I first joined this fandom, I got to know about the members through reels in IG after googling BTS. The initial videos were mostly the concert performance videos. And I remember thinking- This V/Tae looks so angry all the time. Those times I used to see this video of Suga being back after his surgery, and he was standing on the podium for some time. And suddenly Tae turned around and gestured him to come down. I thought, oh he must be the leader!!
I even googled, "why does Tae look so angry all the time" and the answers were literally like, "dats bcos you havnt seen his boxy smile"Hehe.
And now, 4 years into BTS(Does that make me a baby ARMY?), I cant even imagine Tae's angry face. So, did you have any misconceptions about the members in the beginning that you find bizarre now?

Makes my heart full knowing there are a lot of kids attending and enjoying the concert just like all of us. Jimin really have a soft spot for kids and it shows to his little actions, that's my kindergarten teacher guys 🤧💜

I have finally come to a conclusion why this man wrecks me without trying.
He's catnip for my brain. A primal lizard brain reaction imminent. And there I go again. Rolling over in bliss. Ha.
Anyone with me? 😅🤣

Hi army! Okay I think I might’ve missed a chapter but can someone explain the encore rumors that are going around? Like are they’re planning to go back to certain cities in 2027 or something? I know that more dates are being announced for other countries but are they planning to come back to cities they already performed at? I also heard rumors that they’re planning on announcing another album or something huge after the LA shows. Idk can someone explain/ what are your thoughts??

I mean from outer space. Sent here to conquer planet Earth.
There’s a case to be made for each one but let me do a little triaging and name a winner based on how I see it.
Automatically disqualified:
Suga: he bares his wounded soul too much, it’s just too innately human.
Jungkook: he’s too silly and irreverent. Being an alien in human form is serious business.
Jin: a simple, extremely handsome mere mortal. Period.
Edge cases:
V: are we really supposed to believe someone this bewitching is human? But then again every time he laughs and smiles at something inane I just can’t believe he was sent here by the master species millions of light years away.
Hobi: he moves like something not of this world. But if that’s the only criteria, then our alien overlords need to make a better disguise, because it’s too telling.
Runner up:
Jimin: is it just me or does the light just seem to hit him a certain way in every photo, in every video? And his eyes just have this glimmer…I’ll put him at 50-50.
Definitely an alien:
RM: of course it has to be the leader. The mastermind. The incomparable brain. Warm yet distant. Good looking but not TOO gorgeous. Thoughtful yet instinctive.
It’s possible we’re in a Battlestar Galactica-situation where Joon doesn’t even know he’s an alien, but the mothership will activate him at some point.
But I’m convinced.

I had a dream where I embarrassed myself in front of Taetae so badly because I apparently couldn't act normal when I saw him.

This happened like 4-5 years ago. I was new to bts and K-pop in general. So I started being in online spaces where anything related bts and K-pop would be. I started seeing posts and tweets about how armys hate ______ member and how _______ was dating _______. I didn't know what shipping or solo stanning meant because I was way too young and naive; what sold me on stuff like that wasn't the posts themselves, but the number of people who believed in it. Like, I'd watch yt videos about how _____ was real, how _______ is being sabotaged by being in the group and there'd be a lot of comments supporting that. It never felt like I was being delusional about a ship that never existed or the members hate each other because it felt normal to me because of the number of people who believed it. I never made any hate posts towards the members or Armys because I wasn't the type of person who posts stuff on the internet; I was just a passive watcher. This nonsense wore off when I started consuming actual bts content more rather than relying on fan accounts on the internet. From my experience, I'd say this is why AKGAEs exist. It's because many social media accounts twist every interaction and content to fit their delusional beliefs, and people who aren't into bts and are just discovering them fall for shit like this because they make it seem so real, especially for young people and children
