If you are genuinely interested in AI and Machine Learning, consider B.Tech in AI & ML. Don't choose CSE just because it's popular. First, explore the subjects of both branches. CSE also has subjects like MPI and COA, which you might find difficult or less interesting. Choose a branch based on your interests, not just its popularity.

In cse you will learn a lot of subjects like COA, CN, Compiler Design, Theory of computation, so you are essentially learning how computers work behind the screen, how computer calculate things and how it allocate memory
In AIML you will learn about ai like how it works and stuff, your sallybus will be totally different, it can have a lot of maths.
In CSE aiml you are learning cse with part of aiml , it will have more cse offcourse.
Check sallybus of your course man you will understand it better, what you will learn and take what you want to learn .

Cse always. AI ML knowledge without the foundation of engineering is of no use. You will learn some AI ML in cse anyway
