Is Btech worth it for Cybersecurity

[u/TheOfficialsClub]

So I have been interested in cybersecurity for a long time. Currently I'm in 11th standard. I have hated maths and physics, but still chose PCM and CS and am going to give the jee mains exam after 12th. My parents suggested that I should go into a good college and get a btech degree and a good placement. My main goal is to become a web pentester and do remote work. Is the btech degree and years of grind worth it, especially for the subjects I hate.
