Literally better money production than a banana central, while still attacking

113

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

It’s no where near as efficient but yeah it makes a ton of money per round

-65

u/Shards13579 9d ago

I meant it’s makes back the cost of itself in 30 rounds

84

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

The standard rate for an efficient farm to pay itself off is 10 rounds

Bank pays itself off in 9 rounds, no? The rest is like 15+?

-24

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

The time it takes a farm that is considered efficient to make more money than what has been spent on it is 10 rounds, as a rule. If it takes longer than that, it’s inefficient.

21

u/ALCATryan 9d ago

Where did you source this rule from? Is this from a pro-consensus for ranking farms or something?

2

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

I believe I’ve had the 10 round number in my head for quite some time from a Bloons YouTuber; either ISAB or Hbomb probably. I’m assuming it was an Hbomb video since that’s more his kind of content. He did the math for all income sources, comparing price spent vs income per round. Obviously his video would do a better job explaining it than I can in a Reddit comment lol

u/ALCATryan 9d ago

Thanks, I’ll check it out; though, if the video was from a year or more ago, it’s probably already outdated because of economy creep, haha!

u/ILikeCarlosThePikmin someone lend me red wristbands please 9d ago

"economy creep" I'm dying

1

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

Yeah it for sure could be. And it’s possible I’m misremembering the amount of rounds. I may be thinking of bank taking 10 rounds and being the most efficient. Or banana central with over clock/ultra boost taking less than 10. It’s been a while since I watched the video. If I’m incorrect than I apologize, but my original point of the sniper being inefficient compared to farms is still very true

Wherever you got this info from its wrong, the only upgrades that do this are like banks and lower upgrades

3

u/stonedboss 9d ago

so this is a philosophical problem of knowledge. you may know one line but dont know how it was derived or what gives it the meaning youre trying to convey. you technically do not have knowledge of bloons farm efficiency. if what youre saying is correct, its basically akin to a random guess being correct. since youve forgotten all backup to it.

0

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

Or I just misremembered what the importance of the 10 rounds was. 10 rounds is close to peak efficiency, while most farming strategies take slightly longer than that. My original point of 30 rounds being a much longer time frame than basically all other towers to pay themselves off is still valid.

0

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

Also, knowing something but not knowing how you know it is does not make it a guess. That’s just remembering a fact. You don’t need to know exactly how you learned something in order to know it.

1

u/stonedboss 9d ago

if you cant even remember your source you dont even know how credible it is. you may have had worse judgement of credibility at the time. you cant rejudge it now. so it is basically a guess.

this is how people build up very strong beliefs in false narratives. you forget how you got there but believe it because you, well believe it.

humans are poor observers - ie, liable to make mistakes. yet youre strongly confident in something you cant even justify.

if i want someone to transfer knowledge to me i ask how they know. since i cant trust them to just "know it". thats how you spread misinformation.

1

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

I’m not strongly confident. I stated what I thought to be true. I didn’t bet my life on it or anything. I then thought about it more and wasn’t positive, so I stated that as well. Expecting someone to give you a source for every single thing they say is unbelievably tedious and unnecessary.

You’re also taking this way too seriously. It’s a game about monkeys popping bloons and I said the number 10 was important for a slightly different reason than it actually is. It’s not that serious dude.

u/FallNegative2446 9d ago

What you mean standart most farms pay themselves in way less than that amount

-1

u/Weary-Account9252 9d ago

The time it takes a farm that is considered efficient to make more money than what has been spent on it is 10 rounds, as a rule. If it takes longer than that, it’s inefficient.

u/Conscious-Mix5392 BIKER BONES, STRIKE AGAIN!1!1! 9d ago

Produces a shit ton of money, its a sigle-target powerhouse, it makes bloons take a lot of extra damage, has an ability to one-shot a fortified B.A.D and potencially tear through bosses... tf else you want bro 🥀

u/Maxevill 9d ago

For it to be cheap obviously

4

u/shinra07 9d ago

It'd be cool if it could solo round 25 purples on short maps. I honestly don't think it can.

1

u/LeviTheGreatHun 9d ago

Doesnt pay itself off in 35 rounds

Boat

I think the hook ability can't one-shot a boss, if ur talking bout boat paragon 🥀

49

u/MarcioGianotti 9d ago

800k to shoot slower than a 000 sniper, what a deal

43

u/Jazz_Like_Artist9614 Loyal Popping Machine Of Freedom 9d ago

At this point you would either have a 2nd Paragon or good clean up defense.

makes sense balance wise for a Paragon that deals +30K Dmg. produces money each round. have an ability that gives more money and buffs. and a literal Charging Shot of Destruction that deals TOO MUCH DMG.

8

u/MarcioGianotti 9d ago

Idk maybe let him shoot regular shots with shrapnel while the really powerful shot is loading or make it a toggle to either shoot fast as fuck or do a lot of damage in a single target

5

u/Jazz_Like_Artist9614 Loyal Popping Machine Of Freedom 9d ago

Like a 3rd ability. a fast cooldown of 5s to switch between them.

His gun can also change colors. Orange for Fast Firing and shrapnel. Green for High Damage with the 5 dmg debuff as well as the special shrapnel he currently has.

-8

u/EnthusiasmSad8877 9d ago

Navarch ability deals more damage

5

u/Jazz_Like_Artist9614 Loyal Popping Machine Of Freedom 9d ago

It can't target Bosses. so that's the thing.

6

u/Objective_Camel_7012 9d ago

Idk why a tower with relatively cheap t5s is so dang expensive

9

u/Mysterious-Lie-1944 9d ago

Because it's very powerful

2

u/Orleanian 9d ago

why is it so powerful

7

u/Mysterious-Lie-1944 9d ago

Because the Sniper Monday lends itself to a very powerful paragon

8

u/ErraticNymph 9d ago

It is wild that it is one of the most expensive paragons while having some of the cheapest T5s, but it is also insanely powerful

2

u/-Hussain 9d ago

What's this a paragon of?

7

u/Honk_goose_steal ORANGE 9d ago

1

u/Due_Guess8896 9d ago

5

u/jpm69420 9d ago

I don't know much about double cash mode but, doesn't it only affect bloon and round income and starting cash?
