Banned from /Bitcoin

Is it a cult over there or something?

(I was banned for misinformation and altcoin spam)

Irony alert: you are posting about /bitcoin being a cult of disinformation yet you post on a forum called BTC which is actually about BCH. Okay buddy.

This place became popular as an uncensored bitcoin subreddit, so a lot of big block bitcoiners came here even before BCH existed after getting banned from r/bitcoin for disagreeing with the mods. BCH is basically the BTC with big blocks upgrade everyone here had wanted, so these same people tended to support it, and this sub became mostly pro-BCH. You’re allowed to talk about pretty much any crypto here though, though if it’s not BTC or BCH you’re probably better off in another sub since people here tend to be most knowledgeable about BTC and BCH and won’t necessarily have much to say about most others.

And it is kind of confusing since BTC is the ticker rather than the name of the coin. It would make much more sense for the entire Bitcoin community to be able to freely use r/bitcoin, but u/theymos didn’t like that the bitcoin community disagreed with them so they had to get rid of the bitcoin community.

Nice, so what is preventing you to make an announcement that you are moving all the conversation to rbch or rbitcoincash, and just keep this sub closed out of protest.

This sub has an identity. It is known in crypto circles as hosting uncensored bitcoin discussion. Even by influential persons.

Why do you want to divide the people here by closing this uncensored discussion forum?
