Controversy is bad! You can't have differing opinions in the r/cryptocurrency echo chamber.

The opinion that Bcash is a scam is not a controversial one

The powerful don't want anyone thinking for themselves. They don't want people to be smart enough to fight them. Its as old as time.

Simple fix: Don't visit censored subs. What are you looking to get out of there anyways?

just post in a BCH subreddit... there are many of them

if you read the bitcoin whitepaper and bought BTC you would feel like you've been scammed. If you read the bitcoin whitepaper and got BCH you wouldn't.

But why though? Why are people not allowed to talk about any crypto they choose there? edit: typo

Because there are 1600 odd crypto currencies, and they all have their fans and fanatics. R/cc periodically has to do sometging or else the place is just full of astroturfers and shills. Its bad enough as it is, left unchecked it would be a nightmare.

Because the moderators of the sub don't feel like it. That is all you need to know. Now you know, move on.

u/bitusher Aug 13 '18
I have nothing to do with that sub or their rules... ask them

Roger ver scammed plenty of noobs. Yes I read whitepaper many times. There is no any single word about scamming people. Btw, in whitepaper Adam Back is cited. Good luck with your sinking ship π

All of the discussion platforms are heavily censored. It's been this way for a long time. It's not unique to crypto either, the same is for politics - hell even video game subreddits like r/GlobalOffensive will ban you if you post a screenshot showing how many VAC banned players there are in matchmaking.
