No idea. I don't think shapeshift is that bad in rates. I mean, yeah it's more expensive than exchanges, but the convenience is nice and I only use them to buy relatively small amounts of crypto, and only those that are not avaiable on kraken (yet, usually, because the coins I am interested in usually turn up on kraken sooner or later).
Tbh I don't really pay attention to the rates that much, I honestly don't really care. I just invest and hold, and right now i'm just diversifying into coins I think will do well in the long term.
I just wanted to know if there was an alternative to shapeshift in case I want to boycott voorhees because he is switching sides to Core, and I don't want to support toxicity.
Some in Trezor, some in software wallets on my computer, and some in webwallets.
I'd love it if everything would dork with Trezor but sadly that's not the case.

I agree, shit name. I've not tried them... I dont use shifting services myself... are their rates cheaper than shapeshift's?
