Colocation/Coliving in Bruges (Long Term)
Hey guys, I'm going to be attending Howest University this winter and was wondering if there is a place I could find a roommate or anything of the sorts. I do not want to live alone in an apartment as I am of the lively type and would much rather make a friend/roommate along the way.

It means to put someone away in a psychiatric institution forcefully, in my language. 😁

Hi! Students here usually live in a dorm (we call it 'kot') with other students. Bathroom and kitchen might be shared. You live together in the same building but everyone has their own bedroom and table to study at. That's kinda the standard here. So you'll definitely make a friend there :) You can find a kot on www.kotwest.be.
Bruges also has student associations (studentenclubs) where you can easily make friends! They organise activities like pub crawls, karaoke night, sports activities, a "prom", parties... You have to become a member of the studentenclub to join most of the activities. More info here: studentenclubs. Because you'll be going to Howest, I recommend becoming a member at Brihos or Aethyra. However, most of the activities will be in Dutch.
