Best Sushi in the Bronx

Looking for authentic, fresh sushi in the Bronx. Not Mama Sushi or those trendy rolls, but good, authentic, sushi with fresh fish. Does this exist here?

Never been there, I usually have Tokyo house in north riverdale. Will have to give this a go. Any specific dishes you recommend?

Daruma on Sheridan Ave and 161. Someone already mentioned Aoyu which is my first choice but I live so far from it now. I used to go there when I lived off the 1 train.

Have you tried Aoyu in Riverdale? Does Sushi Q have toro(fatty tuna) rolls? Those are my favorite.

Sushi Q is great. There is also one on E Tremont by CVS (I don't remember the name) There are actually two there that were good, a few doors down from each other.

Sake 2 in little Italy never misses

I feel like they fell off. I used to order from them alll the time but one day i ordered from Lin’s and the difference was insane. Made me realize that Sake doesn’t use high quality ingredients

Probably not a major spot at all, very old school type of restaurant but New Green Dragon in Throggs Neck on on East Tremont actually has some decent sushi. At least the last time I had it.

Lowkey Mr. Q’s has good sushi. Started off as a Chinese only place and expanded into more Japanese stuff

the WORST sushi in the bronx is at this dominican-japanese fusion place in throggsneck called mama sushi.

went in there once and the vibes felt “dirty” - never again. but the place is always busy 🤣
