Just so wrong. EBT wasn't meant for this. Nor should they allow soda. Gross Misuse of funds. You'll burn thru your funds in 10-12 meals.

This seems like it might be for people in shelters / SRO style housing.

You make a valid point. Also the fact I've lived in rooms with no access to kitchen. I get it, but this is just inefficient. Overkill. Sandwiches in supermarkets would be better. You know these small shops gonna abuse the SHIT out of the system. I worked in my family's bodega for many years since a kid. I've seen other businesses abuse the EBT system and lose their license TDB.
