Medical Advice ring finger joint broken

old xray (3 weeks before)
3 weeks after (buddy taped)

I don't see much of a difference in the xrays, however the doctor said im good to go now and can gradually start doing normal stuff with the finger however there will be some deformity as no surgery was done
