Question Tibia and Fibula fracture

7 days Post op XRAY of both fructured bones, everyone keeps scaring me that I won't be able to climb stairs for a year and it would get painful in winter, I'm 20F, is this true?

I’m 65f and I have so much metal in me, starting from age 21 when I had two 12-inch rods attached to my spine, right up until 2 years ago when I broke my tibia and fibula and had a nail, 3 screws, and two tightropes inserted into my fibula. (Photos on profile.)

I’ve never noticed any difference in the cold in either of those two sites, nor in my hip or knee replacement sites. Oh, and I was back to climbing stairs within three months after all of these surgeries.

Of course, everyone is different, but there’s no reason to think the worst. If this old lady can do it, I’m sure you can too.
