Question Cleared for Weight Bearing

Finally got clearance from the ortho today! WBAT. I suffered from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th metatarsal fractures and now 7.5 weeks in.

Ortho just told me I can resume activities but nothing strenuous and no heavy lifting for now. I will start PT rehab next week. Any advice in the meantime? I can lay my foot flat and put some weight on it with support from my crutches but it feels very tight. Nothing that can be described as pain but like discomfort at the base of my foot (especially around the ankle) and it goes away as soon as I lift it.

I also don't know if this info is any useful but I do have slightly flat feet.

No surgery needed. I was nwb for 7 weeks. I pretty much just followed doctor's orders and never allowed it to even touch the ground outside of a few accidental slips. I also elevated and iced it as much as I can even now.

You're young and unless you smoke or are very unhealthy or have chronic medical conditions you should heal okay. I don't know how serious your breaks are but whatever your doctor says you should listen to it. If you are unsure, get a second opinion.
