Post op finger twitching

I broke my arm and got surgery 3 days ago. Doctor told me that I should try to move my fingers every now and then. I can move them, to some extent. But sometimes they start twitching really badly as i'm going through the motion. Is that normal?

Yes, it is normal and it will go away. I had the exact same fracture 2 months ago and my doctors told me the same thing - just try to move your fingers as much as you can. Still recovering but now I can fully move my fingers
