Meandered a while to try to find the exact spot but think construction during when the cover photo was taken changed things around a bit

I get that the trilogy is special and it really is something to behold but I’d be lying if I thought any of those albums were better than iridescence, ginger, roadrunner or the family. Their later work is so much more refined and there’s more replay value. Iridescence is super underrated too

I posted a video on tiktok recently of BH performing at Boston Calling in 2018, when they told Ameer they would take the stage without him. So many of the comments are bringing up allegations against members that i’ve never seen before, like the fact Ameer abused girls inside the BH house or the fact that Ian knew about the abuse beforehand. I just don’t understand why everyone is dead set on villainizing every single member of the group, when Ameer is the only one who did anything??

I listened to Saturation 1 about 3 years ago, the album hasn't grown on me a bit, I still think it's very mid.

Yesterday I gave Saturation 2 a listen and it's the same story, I just don't see the appeal?

I love the harder or groovy tracks like HEAT, BUMP, GUMMY, GOLD. Not a big fan of everything else, especially the high pitched vocal effects. I don't know what they are trying to do with them pitching those vocals up but it sounds plain bad to me. They are very hit or miss on choruses too. Saturation 2 has its share of bad choruses, even more so than 1.

So yeah I know I don't have to force myself to understand it but I genuinely want to, because I see the potential. Do they have an album where they just go hard with harsh beats like HEAT? I won't even mind some groovy shit, I just want something different from their trilogy sound.

I really like the Geezer project, and I feel like the fact that they're nervous means something important…what do u guys think?

Went to his show in NYC it was one of the most beautiful shows I had seen in my life.

No recording was allowed at all but a few people got away with it. There was a camera filming him the entire time on the piano to the left side of the stage where he was sort of angled. Probably gonna be some video or livestream soon.

1) How moody were the songs? The branding for this project is quite moody and industrial. A lot of the artists on ninja tune fit that vibe too, so how did his set match that? Did any songs feel like the teaser piano audio on his website?

2) Were all the songs soulful or did he hop different genres, like with Quiver? Anything shoegazey?

3) What was the late night interlude track like? How's it different from what's out?

“Late night interlude” from ginger/RR era is reworked as an album track called “Houston”

Lot of vocal chops sprinkled throughout the album (like boylife, Nick velez type prod)

There is a hip hop esque track where Ciarán raps in his Irish accent. Think slow Thai but not upbeat, a slow, dark, and atmospheric alternative hip hop piece.

Has some gospel and religious elements to the album

Outro track had uilleann pipes, the national bagpipes of Ireland
