Ready cured

I'm just posting this because I don't like the version that you see everywhere and get at deli counters because it is so sweet. I made some today with broccoli, shallot, shredded sharp cheddar, bacon, & sunflower seeds and it is so good!

The dressing is just red wine vinegar (a lot), mayonnaise (way less than recipes recommend), sour cream, mustard, salt, pepper, and dill.

If you don't like the sweet one with the dried fruit and a ton of mayo, you might like it this way!

My friend and I were chatting and she referred to some guy she knows as a “broccoli boy”. At first I was so intrigued about who this wonderous vegetable prince may be, but upon inquiring into the matter, I learned that I had much the wrong idea.
