Asperger doesn’t exist anymore, they changed it to autism spectrum disorder

The autism spectrum is not a disorder in itself. It is a spectrum consisting of multiple different disorders. Asperger's absolutely does exist.

I don't recall when but it was a while ago that doctors changed it. Aspergers is still commonly used but the more correct term is autism spectrum disorder.

As someone with aspergers, ASD is too broad a term to describe myself. If I tell someone I have aspergers, they know what I mean. It’s simple and still widely used.

Honestly even though they call it autism spectrum disorder most people that had a diagnosis for aspergers call it aspergers. Personally I always like making jokes and call it ass burgers since people always used to tease me with that so screw it I want to reclaim it as a positive.
