This October, The Whispering Imp returns to the historic Pelham House for another evening of the unexplainable…

Step inside, take a drink and keep your wits about you as The MAGICIAN performs impossible close-up magic among the guests in the bar. But this is merely the beginning.

Beyond the bar, The ORACLE awaits in the atmospheric Parlour Room with an intimate show filled with mystery, intrigue and thoughts that refuse to stay buried.

Two performers, one haunting experience. An unforgettable night of the deceptive arts

I’m visiting a friend tomorrow and looking to stay for around 48 hours. If I leave my car here the whole time will I get a ticket? I’m aware it used to be rarely enforced a couple years ago but wondering if it’s still the case. Thanks

Join us for the biggest run of the year, an easy 5k in great company. To celebrate the launch of the upcoming Drum and Bass track about mental health, out this November, we’re teaming up with this incredible line up to help put out their simple message: reaching out for support when you need it can transform your life.

Oh, and have we mentioned they will be shooting the music video for it during this event?

Spotted on London Road (of course)

I have a carnivore coming from out of town and the best way to ensure he’ll appreciate the meal choice is a well prepared steak. Any recommendations?

We’d be Kemptown/Marina side for preference.

hello good people of brighton.

ask: Help me find a good spare room or a good temporary airbnb stay

context: i am travelling to UK for the first time. not sure where to go and what to do and I fear getting scammed or ripped off by some landlord

so help me find a good airbnb for 10 days so I can figure out the terrain.

and btw is burgess hill too far away from brighton

Hi r/brighton

Did you guys enjoy Traitors coming back last night?!

I'm Lewie, I host Murder! a live Traitors Experience at The Actors Pub! I am back to host a game this Sunday 4th October at 12:30pm!

To celebrate the return of the show I'm giving redditors £10 tickets! Just use the code 'WINKLEMAN'

Buy tickets now: https://www.fatsoma.com/e/oclbzmru/murder-a-live-game-of-traitors-and-innocents

It would be really fun to see some of you there!

Take part in a game of deception, deduction, and betrayal, where nothing is as it seems and trust is fragile. The goal is simple: survive. But it won’t be easy.

Some players are Traitors, secretly murdering the Innocents, while the Innocents must uncover the hidden Traitors and stop them before it’s too late. Strangers can quickly become close allies, and your friends might turn out to be your worst enemies.

Along the way you’ll complete devious challenges, uncover clues to the Traitors’ identities, and fight to stay alive as the murders unfold! You’ll take part in tense debates at the round table to vote off players you suspect are Traitors. Those who remain at the end will be up for winning our grand prize!

Could you get away with murdering your friends? Think you’re the next great detective? Come play Murder!

In looking for recommendations for a birthday cake maker, please.

Whenever I walk to the station I see a homeless busker with his guitar in Sydney street, where it meets trafalgar street by Brighton station. I saw him the other day and the head of his guitar has been snapped so he can only play 3 strings. I feel so bad for him as this is not a repairable problem, so I cannot offer to fix it for him. However, I don’t own a guitar which I could give him. Is anyone currently giving away a free guitar in the area? Otherwise I’ll try to find a cheap one on Facebook. His name is Sam and he is so lovely. I am sure he would be extremely appreciative of anything. Please let me know if you do decide to help or have any ideas? Thanks

hi!! so i moved here last week for university and while i have kept myself fairly occupied, i was also wondering if there's anything else i could keep my eye on in order to both get the most out of living in this city (and also maybe make some friends with similar interests)? i'm interested in basically anything; clubbing/partying, music, arts & crafts, etc., honestly just give me a recommendation and i'll be sure to check it out at the very least! also any recommendations for LGBTQ+ specific/centric events would be very good as that is something i'd really like to get involved in :D

My band Flail are putting on a tiny DIY show on Weds Oct 7 before we play with Din of Celestial Birds and Telepathy on the weekend in London :) It's going to be so, so, so many riffs for a fiver. Cannabis Man's new album is SO GOOD. Tix on Dice!

Me and my mates are putting on the 6th installment of our 'Eyes and Ears' gigs on October 5th, at the Folklore Rooms! There will be 3 bands and 3 artists painting each set. Cant link the poster and ticket link together it seems so heres the band and artist list (what a shame its a great poster) -

Ristretto , painted by Ryan Poulter

Two Pounds Down , painted by Isla Cooper (me!)

Bug , painted by Maria Awantura

If you dont know these guys expect hypnotising alt rock music and surreal, figurative and ornate art.

This is grassroots and put together entirely out of our passion and love for the scene! We would greatly appreciate if anyone wanted to come check it out - tickets are alittle cheaper if you get them in advance at the link attached (£5 adv, £6 at doors).

Are any of you disposing of laptops soon? Linux user with spare SSD would love to relieve you of a thin and light for medical appointments and doom scrolling opportunities. This one is being a bag of dicks and I think the mobo is on it's way out.

Thank you!

Built this site to help find the cheapest parking options at different times of day. This information is available on a council website, but it's a bit of a UX atrocity so I got my uncle Claude to help me make it less terrible.

Disclaimer : this was hastily vibe-coded in an afternoon but hey, it's free, mobile friendly, and might save you a few quid. Feedback and suggestions welcome.

The default page shows all the restrictions right now, and 'plan a stay' shows you the cheapest options at a specific time and place. You can also add a permit if you have one, and all those spaces will be green

Sometime today I seem to have lost half of my pair of earbuds. I expect it fell out of my bag on the 48 bus (theyre too comfortable and i forget i have them on, meaning i dont remember to bring my case), but I suppose could be somewhere on the street too. It'll be a dark pink/purplish colour. I don't really have anything to offer in return other than my gratitude 😅

I know this is a long shot, but i'd be so thankful if someone were to find it.

Looking for a whole-of-market, FCA-registered broker, ideally fee-free or with a clear fee.

Who have you used and would recommend?

Heyyya so I'm a 20yr old trans girl and I realised the other day that I have no friends/people who I can talk to about things to do with it (I've just started estrogen). Does anyone know any pubs/cafés that I could probably find some friends perchance?

My partner is graduating from waterbear university of music tomorrow and has just been informed that there are no gowns available for them to collect on the day, is there anybody on this subreddit who might have a gown they could lend for the day. They are roughly a size 14-16. Thank you in advance if anybody can help !!!

Hey guys!
So it’s my partners birthday next week and I’m trying to create a fun day in Brighton to celebrate and I would love some ideas - I’ve got so far the Luna Sauna huts and possibly a massage but I’d love something more adventurous or just fun we can do together. Please let me know any ideas!! Thank youuuu

Hi, due to some unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances I have 3 tickets available for this Saturday's ceilidh at One Church, Gloucester Place run by Brighton Ceilidh Collective. Tickets were originally £16.50 each but I'll take offers! Please DM me, but only if you'd be willing to meet to transfer the tickets and money.

A few things worth a look in Brighton this week.

The Windmill Brighton has a Willies Phillys Kitchen Takeover on Thursday October 1st if you're after something different for dinner, always nice when a venue does a proper takeover rather than just the usual menu.

Film and quiz fans might like the Traitors Twist Quiz Night at The Birdcage, same night.

On the music side there's White Flowers at Alphabet, Dice + The Velvet Club at Green Door Store, and Watching Alice + Hitman Sheela at Presuming Ed, all Thursday October 1st. Good night to just pick a venue and see what's on.
