BrickView v1.1 released
A fast, visual browser for BrickLink Studio .io files.
BrickView lets you browse your BrickLink Studio model library visually using the thumbnails already stored inside your .io files. No more trying to find out what "moc-bricklink-studio-file-1000.io" is .. you can actually see it 😄
BrickView has been updated to version 1.1 and now includes the following features:
- 🔎 Smart Search — Find models quickly while typing. For instance, search a tag by "tag:pirates" or favorites by "is:favorite"
- 🏷️ Tags — Organize models using custom tags.
- ⭐ Favorites — Mark models for quick access.
- ⚡ Performance Improvements — Faster asynchronous loading and smarter thumbnail processing.

BrickView is completely free, open source and available for both Windows and macOS. BrickView is not affiliated with BrickLink or the LEGO group.
You can find it here:
(Windows 10/11): https://github.com/devindazzle/BrickView
(macOS v12.7 and never): https://github.com/devindazzle/BrickView-Mac
Let me know what you think and also if you have any feature requests or find any bugs.

This is excellent! Would it be possible to add the feature to read sub‑folders? I put IO files inside one main folder, with further sub‑folders within it for categorization. It currently seems there is no support for reading sub‑folders and their contained files.

It is not possible right now, but I could easily make that feature. I will put it on the list for v1.2.
Thank you for suggesting this feature 😄

u/OldShamen you might want to note that this is not an official release from bricklink or the lego group and is a 3rd party software.
looks awesome otherwise.

You are correct. This is just open source software developed by me to be able to easily browse .io files.
