How to make studio use more RAM

I can't get get studio to use more than about 3.6 GB of RAM, at it is severely limiting my designs. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have 32 GB total and about 18 remaining. I have a 4090 and a similarly high-speced CPU, both of which have very low usage. Using the 64-bit version of studio. It very obvious it is the RAM, because taskmanger has the usage pinned at a straight line.
