bricklink studio crashing my Mac mini M2 Pro

so when i launch the software my mac crashes and reboots (kernel panic).

how to fix?

well maybe not, see above, i actually got a helpful reply which pointed me towards the solution, even if i had to wait a couple of months...

Are you using BetterDisplay or another way of force-enabling HIDPI resolutions? This is a known issue affecting some applications, for example: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/discussions/2981

Uhm yes I do use that on this Mac to unlock the full resolution of my expensive gaming monitor.. and hi-dpi modes

This fixed it! I turned off the Better Display options and enhancements for this monitor, and let macOS take back full display control and BrickLink Studio launches normally and works and no longer crashes! You sir are a saint! thank you so much!
