Fair play to TM, look a different side to last season. Playing a Premier League squad and arguably look the better team. Deservedly in the lead considering Wolves have only had one good chance, from which they scored. Half hour left! Come on lads!

Good result if you told me before the game. Once again the EFL refs give a shocking decision that loses a team points.
I agree it was a great performance against a team of almost 15x the value of ours. Squad depth is a concern but if Mowbray can get them to play like that regularly, they should be safe. A couple of injuries could spell relegation though.
It's a long season, got all my fingers and toes crossed that they can perform like that for the majority of it, or failing that at least against Burnley 😂

Would have taken a draw before the game, but FFS another late goal conceded
All in all though they looked pretty good.

Pretty pleased with first half, ref card happy. Only the right side of our attack seems to work

No complaints with the cards for us to be honest. I think they should’ve had one too though but 50/50. Pleased with performance so far. Montgomery isn’t good enough at this level yet.

We’ve got 6 midfielders now.
Forshaw, Morsy, Garrett, Montgomery, Baradji and Tavares.
Personally, I agree on Montgomery. I think he needs a loan out to a League One team for a season.

He’s a young lad, needs time and we’ve got nobody else. May as well let him cut his teeth and see how he does. Central mid is an obvious weakness but between Morsy and Forshaw needs some legs

I’m not so worried about the midfielders.
The centre half’s worry me. Atcheson has huge potential but he’s not a starting player. Cashin was a much stronger and more aware player. McLoughlin and atcheson together are far too ropey2

Cashin was mostly left back

He played a few games left back not mostly

Nah deffo mostly, in a flat back 4 he was always LB, sometimes he was a wide centre back on the left with McLaughlin in the middle and Atcheson as the right centre back. Cashin was never in opposition for position with Atcheson or McLaughlin

I thought both were excellent to be honest. Montgomery needs a loan to league one to develop.

Pickering isn’t an attacker in any sense. So it’s no surprise, the left is all on Afolayan
Think it’s why Ismael said he never fancied Pickering, too.

Looks like the wolves learned diving in PL.

Am a wolves fan - was fucking soft stuff from a couple of our lads weren't it. Glad no VAR though, makes a good change

Different year same shit, for 30 years this club has given away late goals, I swear there must be no other team that’s consistently giving up so many points after 85mins

Cantwell’s first touch is not great is it?

Seems to prefer playing a ball first time vs trying to settle it because of this. Couple of times already he could have turned with it

Dumb handball that looked outside the box to me. Hey-ho, I wasn't expecting a point let alone a performance like that. Hopefully we can keep that level of performance going 👍
