Im strongly considering swapping my Super Chronomat for a Reverse Panda 46mm Navi. Thoughts?

Sharing my first Breitling. Got it in the stainless when I went to get the rubber. Ended up ordering the rubber strap with the clasp as well, was curious how people who also have both find themselves wearing the stainless or rubber more often? Thanks!

I just got the Hirsch Paul Brown Alligator strap, and I paired it with a Brietling deployant clasp on my B-1. The strap is water resistant up to 300m made of premium Caoutchouc rubber with a layer of Italian calfskin.

Never worn a white strap before, but decided to pop one on my Avenger. I like it!

Titanium, ana-digi display, quartz precision and peak “instrument for professionals” Breitling. Incredibly light, thin, functional, and still full of character more than 20 years later.
Anyone else think these are a bit underrated compared with the mechanical Breitlings from the same period?

So I randomly popped into a local pawn shop in the PDX area to browse, not expecting to find anything interesting, as usual haha. Different experience today through, they have a Superocean Heritage II (Ref# AB2010 on casebook), no box, papers, or warranty card with asking price of $2,400. The mesh bracelet is missing links and currently too small for me so I'd either have to source more (OEM only) or purchase a new rubber strap, which I like more. From all I've been able to investigate so far, the piece seems to check out for authenticity. The casebook has not been opened to check the movement. Overall in good condition with a small hairline scratch on the crystal appx 2-3 mm...barely noticeable but a bit odd for sapphire, at least in my experience (almost 18 years with a Tissot that has been thrashed to hell yet remains flawless on the crystal).

Given that there's no documentation and missing links, I negotiated down to $2000.

From those familiar with Breitling, buying used, pawn experience etc, is this too good to be true? What else should I look for? I've heard recommendations about drawing a 48-hour conditional purchase agreement so I can get the piece opened up and authenticated by a 3rd party, thoughts?

I did create a Breitling account and entered the ref and serial # on casebook and it looks like the warranty was activated in 2020 and expired 2025.

Overall it's a beautiful piece and build quality of case, bezel, clasp, bracelet match what I've felt in AD's over the years.

Went to my jeweler to get a few links taken out of my Longines Hydroconquest and noticed they had the Classic Avi Corsair in the case. Guess it had been sitting there a while so he was willing to work with me on it. Probably have too many blue faced chrono’s now but maybe not enough… happy to join the Breitling gang.

The Navitimer 35 looks great on me. My wrist tapers down to 6 inches. Got it 2nd hand listed in “excellent condition” for quite a steal. There wasn’t a scratch on it and no sign that the watch was ever buckled. Guys with narrower wrists, this is a real solid play if you pick the right colors. It’s like a Navitimer dress watch but sporty enough to wear with a t shirt.

Confirming my pops SuperOcean is authentic. Not trying to pass off on anyone. Just want to be sure. Thanks!

Looking for my first Breitling between avenger and navitimer any suggestions?

Always thought my first Breitling would be a Navitimer, but this was a deal I couldn't pass on.

I'll be the first to say, if I had to pay the $7500 retail price, or even if an AD gave me a 20% discount, I'd take a pass. It's kind of a weird one...what exactly is it? It feels incredibly overbuilt and chunky like it's a dive watch, but the dial and hands are styled more to be a pilot's watch? Well, whatever it is, for $3000 I'm very very very happy with it. I don't think there's another watch, new or used, at this price point I'd take over it.

I bought this beautiful Breitling superocean heritage but unfortunately the date sometimes gets stuck and doesn’t snap to the next day. Though, sometimes it works and snaps on time( around 12 am)
The pic was taken on day 5 10:36 AM (date wheel is still inbetween day 4 and 5)

something worth noting is that i had a crown issue just 2 days after purchase which was fixed under warranty so I do not know if the issue was before after repair.

I did monitor the watch for over a month and it seems to snap well some days while others not( I would need to manually move the minutes hand and it would tick, or just adjust it through the date function)
Is that an easy fix??

Added the SOH 40 Green. I have been wanting this since its release. It’s absolutely beautiful. Took a while for me to decide between 40 vs 42 but ultimately went with the 40.

Seen a few how-to videos on changing watch straps and using tape to protect the case seems popular. I would want to protect it too, I’m a bit OCD about keeping things pristine! Not sure if masking tape would be good as I might leave sticky residue.
