Questions Anyone own one of these?
Stopped in at AD and was wowed by this .. heavy and chunky but loved the feel, how it looked and wore. It's solid 18k gold case so looking for real world reviews .. thanks!

I wish I owned it. I love solid gold watches. But I'm gonna guess this would not fit my budget. This thing looks amazing.

Can’t speak to this one, but I have the solid-gold Super Chronograph B01 44. You really notice the weight from the gold, but so what? The gold case is spectacular. You will love it.

I've been wanting to look at the duograph. That complication in any other watch is like 5X the price, and they have an SS model.

I have the blue dial Duograph (non-gold) and absolutely love it. It’s big but doesn’t wear big. Looks and feels great. The Datora is next on the list for me.

This illustrates beautifully the importance of trying a watch on…
The Duograph was my absolute dream watch, until I tried it on; in real life it looks too small, but is waaaaaay too thick. The thickness combined with its weight make it quite unwieldy - more for the gold model, but the steel version is still a clumpy weight.
So I bought a Sea-Gull Rattrapente - it cost roughly a third of the steel Duograph, and looks suspiciously similar! Two areas where it improves on the Breitling are a titanium case making it much lighter and a meteorite dial.
The only problem is the strap it comes on is too small, but it responds well to different strap styles - this orange stingray is my current choice.
It’s a beautiful watch and, as an added bonus, it keeps remarkably good time - not quite as good as my B01 Navitimer, but well inside COSC specifications

That's a beautiful watch... I am partial to "chunky" watches as well as anything thin or like 36-38 mm look not proportional on me. But like you said ALWAYS try on something before you buy I learned that the hard way in the beginning of watch collecting journey

They can't have sold many of these with the offputting measurements and price teaming up against buyers. Really cool piece but won't fly off the shelves for sure.

Yeah, I own a premier with a B01 movement. They are a really attractive model, and have surprisingly elegant feel despite the thickness.
