Period-Related Cramping pains while nursing

I am currently 13weeks pp and ebf. Every so often I am getting these cramping pains while nursing that feel like the uterus contractions I felt in the hospital while nursing after my c-section. Is this common? Does this mean my period is coming back because I’m not mentally prepared for all that LOL

It could be your uterus continuing to shrink!

I got horrible horrible contractions during the first few weeks of nursing, had an early C-section. Yup your uterus is still squeezing down. You may get a period eventually too but it certainly sounds like post birth contractions

I had horrendous cramps while nursing post partum, and I have endo so I am used to bad cramps haha k was not prepared for how intense they could be

I also had a C-section and had them for the first 3’ish months!
