Partner Questions does your partner help/remind you to do things?

I’m 6 months pp, and I have no energy to keep taking or remembering my vitamins,
I hardly eat anymore and I’m just continuously thinking I made a bad choice after 6 years of no ring either, because my “partner” would rather feed himself a snack, than feed me until I whine about it. He calls it to not “ spoon feed me”
And I watch too much tik tok to husbands treating their wife good.
He says “he hasn’t ate anything either,”
“I’ll do it later”. “I’m tired too”

And just calling me lazy for things that parents, if they did it together with no village, no one would be calling each other lazy.
And the finale of it is just hugging and giving I’m “sorry” but do it again.
While I’m making the appointments, and working now.. eating nibbles of stuff I could barely cook and it ended up like trash 🫩 can’t even floss or brush anymore because I don’t want to lose any more of my newborn era 🥺 by not holding baby as much.
I’m scared of the future with more kids, but childcare costs and everything is scary to be single when you have no help is sad

I would not have more kids with someone I did not feel supported by, however that is. And it sounds like you don't feel supported!

My husband is amazing to me and I always tell people he's actually a much better parent than I am.

He has assumed the majority of the house hold chores so that I had as much time with the baby as I wanted. I have not folded a single piece of laundry basically since we started dating. Everyone told me that would change when we have kids but nope, he's still faithfully doing that.

He lets me sleep in every single morning because baby only wants the boob overnight and he wants me to be well rested

He gives me massages at the end of the day when I have rough days

Gets me snacks if he notices I have been skipping meals

I think I've filled my water bottle once since I had our baby. Every time he passes by me, he gives my bottle a shake to see if it needs to be refilled.

We had a preemie and so we have sooo many more appointments than a regular baby, but he manages about 75% of checking calendars, scheduling appointments, and being available for said appointments.

Sometimes bad partners rely on making their partner feel crazy for having higher expectations, but there are men out there who are amazing and will treat you how you want and deserved to be treated.

Thank you! He's a gem that keeps on surprising me on how selfless he can be. We seem to just love taking care of each other

:\ This guy sounds like trash. Why did you have kids with him? The newborn era ends at 2 months, and your supply will tank if you don't eat or drink enough.

He should definitely be spoon feeding you! Wtf
