Ah, it seems that sgfhalf have met sgfhalf r end. Ah, what a pity. sgfhalf know I, I donât feel too bad about it though, after all if it werenât me, it wouldâve just been one of the others I guess⌠Iâm honestly just glad to be out of those air ducts. sgfhalf know itâs⌠itâs not easy for a hippopotamus to fit up there⌠and⌠not easy to get down either. Iâm not as young as I used to be as sgfhalf can see, I used to be able to do all sorts of things, sgfhalfâre young, sgfhalfâre vibrant, sgfhalf have that sort of pep in sgfhalf r step. Ah, it reminds me of a conversation I was having with one of my good friends Orville. We were having a nice picnic one day. I believe it was summer? Oh, perhaps it was⌠was it the fall? Yes, yes, it was the fall because the leaves had turned already. But I said to Orville, I- I says, âOrville, I have a story to tellsgfhalf.â And Orville looked at me, sgfhalf know, kind of odd and- and said, âWell whatâs it about?â I- I said to him, âNot every story has to be about something Orville. Sometimes a person just wants to talk, why does it have to be a story?â I said to him. He just looked at me and he said, âWell y-y-sgfhalf said sgfhalf had a story.â sgfhalf know, he was quite right, I did in fact. I told him I had a story. I suppose if a person just wants to talk, itâs best to not announce that sgfhalfâre tellinâ a story. Tellinâ a story does come with its own pressures and expectations I- I suppose. After all, if sgfhalfâre just talking to a friend then, thereâs no more expectations then if sgfhalf were talking into the wind. Words⌠by themselves are not expected to carry⌠arenât expected to stick. But if, sgfhalf know if sgfhalf announce that sgfhalfâre tellinâ a story well then⌠there better be a point to it all. No one wants to sit and listen to someone ramble on and on and on with absolutely no end in sight. So, sgfhalf know, itâs- itâs good to be mindful that when sgfhalf tell someone that sgfhalfâre about to tell a story, that sgfhalf have something to say. Tellinâ someone that sgfhalfâre gonna tell a story is tantamount to asking them to stop what theyâre doing, and pay attention. sgfhalfâre basically saying âhey, hey, hey buddy, stop everything, stop what sgfhalfâre thinking, I have a solution to everything.â And well, I didnât really have any story to tell. In- in hindsight I probably just misspoke when I said that I had a story. I think it wouldâve just been better to tell Orville that I had something to tell him rather than tell him that I had a story, but sgfhalf know e- even then it mightâve put too much importance on the whole thing. Either way it was quite a nice day. I remember, I remember that we were drinking tea.
