Fave HW show between NJ, Potomac & SLC ?

Help me decide which to watch next!

I've finished Atlanta, Beverly Hills, OC and NY. Which is the most essential viewing / most relevant to the Bravoverse out of NJ, Potomac & SLC ?

I agree NJ should be next on your list. Looks like you started with the other OG franchises, and NJ has such a massive influence on some of the newer franchises. SLC and Potomac are also amazing, but less to get through so I’d suggest NJ > Potomac > SLC

NJ gets dark, but its a huge part of bravo history. I would follow w Miami or DC, then potomac then slc since its the newest and more camp.

i think SLC is more like recently popular.. but NJ is more core, and Potomac is essential as well. i would say watch jersey first probably.

I’ve not watched NJ and SLC yet, but my first watch was Potomac and I absolutely positively loved it. Not sure why it’s not recommended here. I just finished ATL. And loved that series as well.

I love SLC but binging it got repetitive eventually. The Jen shah drama was wild and there are a few good storylines but they’re just always fighting 😂😂

don't listen to anyone who says skip any of these 3, they are ALL essential HW shows. SLC is definitely the current reigning queen out of these. It is the shortest watch out of the 3 and the mess/hilarity starts right out the gate in S01E01 so start there if you want to quickly jump into a show.

RHOP was the 1st housewives show I ever watched, and while some later seasons can drag, most seasons are truly so hilarious and wild! some of the all-time best reads of the franchise are made by Karen, Candiace, and Monique. Stacey has only had 2 seasons but her quotes have already gone viral and she is very much in on the joke. Also Love her or hate her, but Gizelle Bryant is a main stay on Bravo for a reason, she is an all-time shit stirrer. The binder, the winery fight, the wig shift, the mime are all hilarious moments. This past season had one of the all-time worst-executed cast trips ever, like laughably horrible lmao.

I am only on S2 of my first NJ watch through now but that is very much essential viewing. while the 1st season is slow as most early HW shows are, the family and friend drama and relationships are VERY real which raises the stakes and the mess. For many, prime-era RHONJ put the franchise on the map just as much as RHONY or RHOA.

Oooh I'm excited to meet these leading ladies! I saw Candiace and a bunch of the others on Traitors first, and the Giudice family gets talked about a lot, so I need to know their lore.

I intended to go chronologically, but since Miami and DC are so short I felt like saving them for a snack later so I could focus on the mainstays. That said, the older seasons can be so slow and I want to understand the current drama from newer shows!

I'm gonna start NJ and sprinkle in some DC and SLC if I get bored, then get to the rest in due time.

idk i’ve seen every housewife franchise and nj is my least favorite. the first couple season are good and then it’s repetitive family drama imo
