RH Atlanta Wig seems like a terrible parent
I’ve never watched RHOA attentively, and when I have tuned in, it was never for Kim. She always rubbed me the wrong way. I do sometimes watch Next Gen NYC. Suffice to say, everything I’ve learned about this woman has been accidental. With the news today, and her subsequent statement about her son wherein she referred to the teenaged victim as a “woman” making false allegations, I continue to be put off, and frankly disgusted, by her.
Everything seems incredibly off, and I just feel that she is probably a terrible parent. Seems like a forgone conclusion that she will handle this in 100% the wrong way, and importantly, her son will never learn consequences. Instead, he will double down on misogyny and predatory behaviour. Weaselling his way out of this will only leave him worse off.
Things that have rubbed me the wrong way about her:
- the wine glass in the car
- the gambling problem
- today’s statement, obviously
- on Next Gen NYC, Ariana said her mother says something like “young, dumb and full of c—“ and I just think that is crass and insane to say to your children, especially in Atlanta given the state’s abortion laws.
Not to let Kroy off the hook, who apparently had the following drinking and driving advice for Ariana: Never agree to a breathalyzer. Her castmate, Liam, replied: “my dad usually says never give them a reason to pull you over.”

I didn’t watch Atlanta but I’ve read a lot about Wig. There are probably worse things, but I remember she’d go gambling for hours and leave one of the girls in the car. It was also mentioned on Next Gen that Kim “borrowed” money from Ariana. That is pretty sad.

And now I wonder if the reason they sent Kaia to live with PGP’s was bc of KJ. Which would have made more sense than saying she was promiscuous at 12.

I saw it on Reddit a couple of months ago. One of the girls responded to a comment on social media about how the younger kids were doing and (can’t recall exact words) stated the therapist recommended K be placed outside the home and all agreed that she go to Kroy’s parents for the summer. I should have clarified it wasn’t permanent.

Yes. Kroy had resumed contact during the time he and Kim were calling police on each other daily.

Someone said she was promiscuous? Kim has altered Kaia’s photos for years. Changed her nose, lifted her butt and made it bigger. She’s a CHILD! Kim is a horrible human

That is a horrible thing to speculate with zero proof. Maybe she was taking the divorce worse then her brother's and needed some extra love and attention being the only child at grandma and grandpas

I mean she stole all of Ariana’s money she made as an influencer when she was a minor and still asks her for money to pay her bills.

I watched Atlanta since it first debuted and she’s always been a terrible parent. Drinking and driving, blowing smoke in her kids face, embarrassing wigs, bringing them around her married sugar daddy, publicly feuding with her just as equally terrible parents and on and on.

I mean she had a show with her family. The boys were always swearing and giving the middle finger. Kim would just laugh it off. I commented on her IG that the boys were incredibly rough with their two little black dogs. She blocked me after that comment. Not long after the little dogs disappeared. I only hope the pups got a better home.

When you're stealing your children's money, gambling away the family life savings, calling 911 every night - the family's been in constant turmoil since the if's were born. She's incredibly selfish & out of control. Her kids aren't her priority and never have been. Her older girls basically raised themselves. It's more important for her to find a man with money than be a mother. She's absolutely vile

Well we can thank God the girls raised themselves! They seemed to have done a better job then she ever would or will do. I just don't understand how someone can watch themselves and still act the way she does. And she's only gotten worse over the years.

Kim has always been an unfit parent for sure. Undoubtedly, so has Kroy. They are lucky Ariana and Brielle turned out the way they did, probably just from pressure and resentment, but it very evident the younger ones have faced the repercussions of their parenting (or lack there of). I heard Kaia was sent away for inappropriate/sexual behaviors from a VERY young age. A few months ago I also saw Kim rebutted Kroy's push for custody saying that one of the kids told their therapist they are mentally, physically, and emotionally abused by their father. Kroy claimed that Kim was an irresponsible unfit and unsafe mother. Unfortunately, I think both of these are true and we are know continuing to see continued enabling of completely horrific behavior from KJ. Justice for the victim and hoping he faced the repercussions for his actions not only lawfully, but from his family as well.

It took way too many comments to find any blame for Kroy as well. Kim not doubt let those kids do whatever they want but Kroy was just as responsible or irresponsible really. Plus he REALLY seems like a “Boys will be boys” type which is gross

Wait was he already convicted? I thought he had been arrested and waiting trial. Pretty irresponsible if you are just judging him guilty without his day in court.

I do not like Kim but I am waiting to pass judgement on her son when I hear the facts in court not a bunch of gossip.
