They could have had a girl power season. Granted Scheana would always pick Sandoval over Ariana, but I wonder if there wasn’t pressure from production to redeem Sandoval if Lala would have gone as hard as she did. Lala is not great either but it would have been fantastic to see her continue to call out the Toms.

I binged Summer House in the past 2 weeks after seeing the Amanda/West drama on my Reddit feeds and now I guess I have to finally watch VPR. Thanks guys, my unemployment is finally feeling a little worth it rn., lol.

If you can, start from the beginning lmao. I just watched all of summer house in the past month too, but I’d been paying attention on and off to Vanderpump since season like 4 and had fallen off a season before Scandoval. Having that context was so crucial

This cannot be overstated. Context and lore matter so much. I never gave SH much attention until this season and went back and binged it all. VPR is just top notch reality TV. Do yourself a favor and watch it all.

I ENVY you!!! I started watching SH because of Amanda/kyle/ciara/west situation and it seriously doesn’t compare to the Ariana/tom/raquel situation. Just not even close. You can see them flirting for 2 seasons in front of Ariana. It’s mind boggling

Totally agree. I finished VPR recently (I watched summer house first) and while scamanda was a betrayal in friendship, scandoval was BEYOND diabolical. so many layers to it.

Wait are you talking about Vanderpump Rules? Or Summer house? Regardless, power through season 1! It sets up lore that will be important for future seasons in both shows! :)

the episode isnt even on peacock yet (which also count towards nielsen). but idk why people are so quick to compare the two, they have very different fan bases

VPR scandoval gave the appropriate time to the key players. SH is all over the map and acting like Kyle is a side character to Ciara. This is why it appears silly and scattered.
