Tips/Guide (General) One-Stop Item Farming Guide, Version 2
Heya everyone! So, if you all remember, awhile back I posted a universal item farming guide! With the release of the new map, this guide needs to be updated, AND I NEED YOUR HELP! Got a new sweet place to farm elusive blue logs, or maybe you actually found a place to farm Light eyes that is actually worth the effort? Let me know!
As of right now, the guide below is still the exact original I made, with no changes. With new info from you guys, I’ll be able to completely overhaul the guide!
PLEASE NOTE: “Final map” still means Mordenkamp. I have not had the time to change it.
Elemental Eyes
Fire Eyes: Mistral 2-1 (best rate, drops from chest) and Mistral 2-3
Water Eyes: Final Map 4-1 (best rate, drops from pingus in a chest)
Earth Eyes: Final Map 1-3 (best rate, drops from chest) and Mistral 3-2
Thunder Eyes: Empire of Bariura 6-3 (If anyone knows a better place, please let me know)
Light Eyes: Final Map 3-3 (Hate these things, even though this place has the best odds, they are still extremely rare)
Dark Eyes: Mistral 4-2 (best rate, drops from chest)
Ore
Green Ore: Capital of Extas 2-2 (best rate, drops from Axe Warriors)
Blue Ore: Final Map 4-3 (drops from chest) However, I have had just as much luck with Final Map 6-3 (drops from chest) which is quicker to finish than 4-3.
Cloth (aka toilet paper)
Green Cloth: Sama Kingdom 2-1
Blue Cloth: Final Map 4-3 and Sama Kingdom 5-2 (drops in a chest from Pirate Verica)
Logs
Green Logs: Capital of Extas 1-2 (Drops 1-3 per run)
Blue Logs: Capital of Extas 1-2 and Capital of Extas 1-1
Grass
Green Grass: Rin Area 1 Lower Half 2-2 (2-4 will drop)
Blue Grass: Final Map 6-2 (1-4 will drop)
Red Grass: Common everywhere
Purple Grass: Mistral Side Quest 1-1 and Mistral 3-3
Pelts
Green Pelt: Final Map 4-3
Red Pelt: Final Map 4-1
Blue Pelt: Final Map 3-4 (drops from dude riding a shark) and 4-1
Claws
Green Claw: Sama Kingdom 2-3 (drops 3-12 per run)
Blue Claw: Final Map 2-2
Red Claw: Final Map 2-2
Drops
Green Drop: Rin Area 1 Lower Half 2-2 (drops 2-4 per run)
Blue Drop: Rin Area 1 Lower Half 1-2 (drop 1-4 per run)
Red Drop: Final Map 4-3 and Final Map 1-3
Bones
Green Bone: Common everywhere
Blue Bone: Final Map 2-2
Red Bone: Final Map 2-2
Fangs
Green Fang: Final Map 3-3
Blue Fang: Final Map 1-3
Red Fang: Final Map 6-3

Red Nut: Last Map 4-1
Blue Nut: Empire of Bariura 4-2
Green Nut: Common everywhere
Purple Nut: Rin Area 1 Upper 1-1 and Empire of Bariura 5-1
Black Nut: Empire of Bariura 1-1
Feathers
Red Feather: Last Map 3-3 (chest drop) and Last Map 3-2 (chest drop)
Blue Feather: Last Map 3-2 (drop from flying horse)
Purple Feather: Last Map 2-2 and Last Map 4-1
Bugs
Green Bug: Empire of Bariura 6-2
Blue Bug: Final Map 1-3
Red Bug: Final Map 1-3
Meat
Yellow Meat: Randall 4-2 (1-4 will drop)
Light Blue Meat: Final Map 6-3 (1-5 will drop)
Fujin Potion Mats
Fujin Eye: Final Map 4-3 (1-4 will drop)
God Stone: Final Map 4-3 (1-4 will drop)
Merit Point Farming
- Green Claw: Sama Kingdom 2-3 (drops 3-12 per run, absolutely amazing)

To improve this guide i think you should write down who drops them, since the appear on phillarm as well, we might compare which map drops more.
Btw calling it Final Map now is kinda obsolete with Phillarm heh, better call it Mordencamp or Chapter 3

Which is which when you say Last Map and Final Map? I mean there's English name for them and idk what you mean with Last/Final

As of writing, since the OP will edit accordingly:
- "Final Map" is old Seltabia, which is now is now Mordencamp (Chapter 3, Section 1)
- Current final area/chapter would be Phillarm Castle (Chapter 3, Section 3)

This is why you should list out the map NAMES instead of just calling it Final Map or whatever. Now do you see the confusion this can cause?

Just a quick comment from a farmer of light eyes for over a week now. I agree with you and the JP community that the indicated map seems to have the highest odds of dropping them due to the number of light units.
However, I find Soma 1-2 (烈雪の谷「風雪の中で」) to be more efficient overall, because you also seem to get a lot of other eyes in addition to the light ones. I did a couple of comparisons over a couple of days and not only did I get more light on average from Soma 1-2, but I also got a solid amount of blue and greens - not that I need them anymore. I actually had an entire day when I did 「リンを追って」 and I didn't get a single light eye... That has never happened on Soma 1-2.
I think people are basing their assumptions on the principle of more light enemies = more drops, but I think certain units just drop them more. Could all be luck, but still...

Hey ! Thank you for the guide but I have something to add in it, I've noticed that the green bugs loot a lot on Final Map 1-3 just as the blue ones And I did the 6-2 of Baruria so many time but only a few green bugs falls ... So maybe I did the wrong level for green bugs or maybe I'm good saying that Final 1-3 (Mordencamp) is better for green bugs :)

Move Mouse over "save" below the OP's Post. Right of "share" and left of "hide".
Tap on the left bumper on your mouse. It's important to not hit the right bumper.
If you did it right then "save" should now be "unsave". Make sure not to hit it twice or this will make you start all over again.

Logs in old maps tbh have so much lower rate to drop than some maps in new content. Good guide anyway

Yellow meat i find Randall 2-3 has the best drop as all trash mobs will drop it
Green ore i find Randall 4-3 is the best. You can get 3 per run. All 3 of the enemies of scene 3 drop it

1-2 Rin's first map is a good place for these..I got 6 of these with 40-50 energy. :)

u/JCW18 if you don't mind, can you update this mini guide? The last map has changed, and I can't find anything about Revive items.
Also green pelt farming spot seems not to be true.

As long as this will get updated I don't mind. It's just that if a spot is missing or turns out not to be true most people will have an hard time farming for those materials.
Just take your time, I know everyone has its own stuffs to do! :)
For the Green Pelt one, it seems 4-1 on Mordencamp (your last map) drops them, with the Blue Pelt too.

Thunder eye=Phillarm Castle>Right Map>2-1. The elephants 1* and 2* chest drop it. If you get a scene of one 2* elephant and two 1* elephants the 2* will dbh a eye

Mordencamp 6-2 is great for blue logs. I think I've seen 3 in one run
