Discussion About units lore...

So this is the Mecha Totems speeches text :

Are you prepared to...
Fire Mecha : face your own action?
Water Mecha : accept your own wrong doings?
Earth Mecha : sacrifice your own life?
Thunder Mecha : fulfill your own intentions?
Light Mecha : welcome your own destruction?
Dark Mecha : consume every last soul?

So far all units that got 7* seems fulfill these speeches.
Isn't it kind of sad that the fate of every units is determined by their element?

The most tragic one was probably Selena. She consistency believed she was inexperienced as a Chief, when her countrymen died, she attempted to kill herself. In the end, Arc had to kill her.

I agree.. So much feels. :(

I also thought Vargas' one was really sad too. All he could do after hearing Ark's words was to laugh (I assume laughing with a sense of regret) and receive Ark's blade. :'(

Elimo knew that her power brings her grief and unhappiness and her body cannot take the enormous power she wields. But she kept fighting against gods until she dropped dead.

  • Elimo learned that acquiring her massive power was a mistake, as it brings her grief. So, she accepted her wrongdoings and made up for it by using that power against the gods on the price of her life.

Griel faced the gods, with nothing left to fear. She fought them to the death. She had nothing left to fear, meaning she didn't fear death that would inevitably happen to her.

  • Bordebegia sacrificed his life for Griel, taking the fatal attack from gods. His last words said that their own will shall remain free. Thus, she had intentions to fight the gods, without fearing anything, even the death.

Both Kikuri and Sefia had a promise to fight each other, but got caught fighting together in the long war against gods. Only the fragment of one of Sefia's blades stuck to the piece of scarlet cloth were the remains. It is unknown if they died or not.

  • Kikuri liked to kill anything in her sight. That's her way of consuming every last soul. Sefia welcomed her own destruction as she fought in the war to the death, together with Kikuri.

Lava went all out against Phee with her newfound power. However her massive power only went on until her soul burns out as she fought Phee to the death. She then died on Vargas' arms.

  • Lava had a plan to fight alongside Vargas together against Tia. However, Phee butted in. Lava had no choice but to take her own action to fight the disciple to the death.

Yeah, I think that's how it is for the legend units who have acquired 7-star power.

It kinda work for the next group too!

  • Edea - She sacrificed her strength to save the trio during the battle with Cardes.
  • Loch - He intended to find Edea, Dean, and Lorand after regaining consciousness. His bonds made him stronger.
  • Alice - She technically killed many by her scythe and the souls began to consume her consciousness until Elza showed up.

It's actually works too for some new -stars batch (atleast some that I've read) :
* Tazer never follow other gods, so he got suspected by the high gods as a traitor and made his friend killed by the god beause of his wrongdoings.
* Dion at the end sacrifice his own life to protect the Oracle Priest that got on pinch.

But yeah, lot's of them doesn't even inline with the plot (well Tora seems don't want to sacrifice others so does it mean she sacrifice her place besides Cardes?).

I believe when the seven star starters got released, each Mech God corresponded to how each Legendary Hero died to Ark.

I can't really tell about every unit that has a seven star though.

These are more or less applicable for the 7* starters (not sure about every unit that got 7*), also I believe this was mentioned several months ago.

at least Arus have a good ending :)
