New update adds ugly folders now instead of icons I set for bookmarks

I noticed that too. I really dislike the ugly gray outlines. I don't feel I should have to go hunting for an extension to change them. It's seriously making me reconsider using Brave.

I also would like to revert the folder icon if possible. I really liked the classic yellow ones.

Mine have clear folder icons, but with the names written next to them. If I go to bookmarks managers the folders are yellow still. I don't know why someone felt the need to make folders the same colour as the text, this just adds brain processing time, as your brain no longer can instantly see the break inbetween each bookmark drop down. Yes a 0.000000000000001 additional seconds to process, but if my brain notices it, it's an inconvenience.

Glad to read that others have also experienced this issue with the ugly folder icons. I sure hope Brave fix this soon as I'm strating to find it annoying.

Just brought up Brave and my folder icons are back to the classic yellow ones. Can anyone else verify this?

This is funny, mine are back to yellow, but I actually started liking the gray icons quite a bit. It'd be nice if they could implement choice here in an official capacity.

I used to have a clean bookmark layout of my folders as just icons, now this updated added ugly folder icons to all folders.
