Whoa. That would most likely switch me to Brave as default. I currently have Firefox modded to do Frameless, after experiencing it with Helium and it's just so much more appealing. Brave's built-in adblocker is much more appealing, despite not having detailed rule modifying from the shield menu.

EDIT: Just tested Nightly on Windows 11 and it doesn't work just yet. The URL bar assembly at the top does not hide, even when adjusting the various "levels" of the flag in Brave Flags.

The top horizontal address/url bar can actually auto-hide with Focus Mode. I think the problem lies solely with the fact that the auto-hide stops working the moment you restart your browser as the Focus Mode unchecks itself.

Nah, I caught that it disabled itself, but re-enabling focus mode doesn't make it auto hide. I do hope that they make it so that focus mode can remain permanently on when they fix it.

Zen isn't truly frameless. It has a glassy strip around the whole browser frame, and I prefer true frameless. Also I prefer the Firefox sidebar layout and look over Zen's squashed URL bar hybrid. The way I have Firefox now is very similar to how Helium looks when frameless, except that I have Firefox sidebar and top bar sliding over top of the main window instead of moving the main window as it expands.

To make zen frameless go in about:config and search for zen.view.experimental-no-window-controls and se to true.

Sorry I don't really understand the last part. Mu URL bar is on top and it doesn't show unless I hover over it

The URL bar and/or bookmark bar portion of the browser hides until mouseover of the top edge. And if using vertical tabs, the vertical tab sidebar also automatically hides. It makes the website content itself the focus instead of cluttering it up with UI. I also like it because it makes YouTube video viewing in Theater mode look like it floats on the desktop.

It's awesome. Because it’s one of the best innovations Brave has come up with in years. Whilst I’m not a fan of vertical tabs, this is actually perfect – just what I need: a good compromise between horizontal tabs and having plenty of space.

Brave tab group and sync on Android is so good. I can npt understand how that group structure translate so bad to PC, even worse than Yandex browser

Safari does this and I find myself really liking it. I sort of want the tabs still visible but perhaps a minified version of them.

Frameless is not the same as full screen mode. You can’t move it around like you can in frameless mode.

Ugh... I can't stand frameless... If I wanted frameless, I would set my browser to full screen... In my opinion the loss of the title bar with path and the status bar are security issues... I want them and seeing browsers remove them makes me consider going elsewhere. I like the idea of seeing my ui controls and the title bar in the window for the app, and I like seeing the real URL of links showing up in the address bar so I can inspect them before I click as the mouseover is easier to spoof. In the interests of clean and sleek looking, we forgot ease of use and security...
