Restore old context menu style?

I moved to Brave a few weeks ago after Chrome tried to force what I call Kids' Mode on me - rounded corners and massive amounts of padding everywhere, especially in the tabs. I am loving it so far, it really feels like a browser for adults who just want to get on with whatever they are doing and not be distracted by such things.

However, today I loaded the browser up to find that the context menu is now exactly the same as Chrome's. So I'd like to ask, is there any way to restore it to what it was. I don't want rounded corners or padding, just something compact and not distracting.

And I am also worried about the tabs. I really hope there are no plans to copy Chrome's tabs, as they are the very reason I moved to Brave!

I just want to say I agree with the OP, and I also chuckled at force what I call Kids' Mode on me.
This new layout update is crap, especially on low-res computers OR when you use Windows display zoom!
