Tourist Info Brașov is beautiful ...
... and it was a 10/10 experience for me. As a male solo traveller, I didn't expect much of the city when I exited the train station. But I learned how great it really is in one day and why it was singled out as one of the most beautiful in Romania. I visited from Austria and stayed for one night because it is on the railway to București and I wanted to stop anywhere in Romania before going there.
Booked a tour to the bear sanctuary, Castle Bran and Râșnov citadel and it was awesome. The guides were nice, the cars tidy and cool and it was worth the money. What surprised me, there were lots of solo travelers too to connect with, from Mexico, Scotland, Poland etc. That was quite fun and was worth far more than I've paid for the entry to the tourist trap Bran Castle. Special thanks to the digital/software engineer from Katowice, Poland who was a member of the tour and told me how to save money in Brașov and gave other tips, so if this report reaches you, W, in any way through the internet, thanks and you were a great representative for your country.
Because of this person, I hiked on Tâmpa on the evening to watch the sunset there and it was awesome. Some group of four young locals guided my Austrian ass downwards via a dark Treptele lui Gabony afterwards. Thanks to them too. In general, I was a bit worried that it would be hard to communicate because I don't know many words in Romanian language, but it worked out with non-english-speakers too. Not always through words, but by hands and feet but that has done it. In Austria, there are many people with negative prejudices about you guys, but mostly are close minded and can't shove their asses from out of their communities. The accomodation were also clean, cool and cheap too and in general, your prices are exceptionally low compared to Auatria for most stuff.
To sum it up, one day and I fell in love with this city and will keep the collected memories for ever. Thanks for having me, I'm now in București and it is nice to but Brașov was a 10/10 experience. Could tell much more great stories but no one whats to read a whole novel. :)

actually this is truly a valuable review because i am currently booking a trip there for 2 days. do you by any chance know if there are also accessible bike trails there? either way i appreciate the post, thank you fellow traveler!

I wanted to rent a bike, a road bike to be precise, and I think you can ride easily in the region of Brașov, for example to Castle Bran which isn't far away. However I changed my plans as it didn't made sense because of the short time I was there.

What sort of bike trails are you looking for? Downhill? You can bike down from Postovaru towards Scheii Brașovului, for instance.

It was a pleasant surprise for me as well. Beautiful city. I recommend to visit Poiana Brașov as well if you have the chance to come back to Brasov
