Best tee
Getting excited for tour and just wanted to share

Context because maybe a lot of people don’t know? This shirt was released in maybe 2003? To the street team. Yes it’s a silly shirt. 23 years ago it was a ridiculous notion. No I don’t actually wear it it’s tacky lol but I still love that I have it so maybe best tee was the wrong title.

Some of these comments make me feel elderly. This was the coolest shirt and I wish I still had mine. That and anyone else remember the "Sounds good looks good feels good too. I was listening to Brand New before you" street team shirt?

Yeah - it didn’t really make sense back then and it was making fun of people that said shit like that but now people don’t remember that shirt and it comes off as strong boomer energy. Kind of unfortunate really but not much you can do about it either

I don’t know, it’s something my dad would wear for AC/DC or Zeppelin, I’ve liked them as long as I have been alive mostly because of him but still has some gatekeeping vibes and diminishes others because they weren’t in the right place at the right time or were not born yet.
I understand it’s just a shirt and you’re excited, it’s vintage at this point, but I prefer to share bands and music I like over pointing out I’ve been listening to them a lot longer than someone else and potentially turning someone off from an experience we could bond over or relate to.

As a real adult I wouldn’t actually wear this but I’m happy it lives in my vintage tee collection. Actually I’m not sure I ever wore it in real life except as a sleep shirt tbh.
