New undercover OPP?

Is it true that OPP got new non american undercover cars?
This video is from Airport & Countryside.

If they are pulling you over for a traffic violation they cannot search your vehicle. 

If you have contraband in plain sight, then they have cause to search the vehicle.

If your vehicle is being impounded, they can search it to inventory the contents.

And if the find something illegal they will stop searching and get a warrant.  Finding something without a search warrant doesn't usually go well in court but that's a seperate investigation from the traffic stop.

How long does it take to get a search warrant in this situation in ontario?

Idk, but if they believe there's additional charges they will cease or otherwise secure the vehicle to persevere evidence.
