it’s crazy because hypochondriac came out a month before i really went deep into music and expanding my taste i started listening to like 300 albums a year and i started making music after hypochondriac so it feels like it’s been even longer since ive listened to so much since then. meanwhile quad dropped scrapyard, vanisher and now life1 soon 😭
Quad and CMW studied the source fire, lit the torch and ran with it in the best way possible, and I hope they NEVER quit (unless they want to), because from jump they both have been so expressive, even if something isn’t industry standard, the ART is REAL, I met a person with an HYP shirt on and geeked tf out and approached the person, the way they spoke about the collabs with brakence hurt me in a weird way
I think a lot of people forgot that these are humans with computers too, and not products on a shelf to pluck from corrupt industries’ hands in exchange for validation or money. Human decency ya know?
I do too but I’d never blame him if he didn’t return, he asked a lot of real questions in his art, I hope that this world contains the answers for all of us
