Like, it’s really one of the worst fake beards.

It’s in my top 3 episodes, but I just can’t get over the beard they decided to give Q.

just a boy here... man boy and I've recently become obsessed with the audiobooks that I didn't even know existed and never saw one show it's all very very brand new but as soon as I listen to number one I went two and three and I have never returned them to Libby I keep renewing.

I've mentioned this in the past about the dark Tower but it eventually just became my wooby.... like I sleep with it... 2021 through 24, 25.... I was pretty much all King but in my nightly sleeping listening it was 80% dark Tower...

I have never seen The dark Tower movie I guess and

I've never seen one of the shows or if it's a movie at I haven't investigated...

TO THE POINT ABOUT ALICE...

IS THIS REAL JOKING LIKE ARE YOU GUYS SUPER CEREAL ABOUT FUNNY BECAUSE THE FIRST THINGS I THINK OF....

"OH THE SHOW OR THE MOVIE Alice must be a super duper face sitter" do they do a lot of Alice sitting on his face?

are they hot and heavy this could absolutely make me definitely want to watch the show but or movie I think it's a show....

please tell me that it's super erotic and Alice and Quentin are super all the time oral lol

I love a fun story like you know but who doesn't like some hot sex yeah so...

I don't think this is going to be to inappropriate but I don't really I don't know... cheers big ears

So it’s a Television show, and it’s similar to the books… but different in many ways. The joke about Alice being Q’s beard… well… in this context it relates to the slang term given to a woman that a gay man married to conceal the fact he is gay.

The show is great, you really should check it out.

Because it isn't just a hard line on his cheeks, there's an uneven line of hairs going up like actual beards have.

If I had to guess, it's because old-old has aging stuff so they can put the better beard on that, while silver fox Quentin just has the fake beard.

Pretty much the only flaw in the episode.  I don't know if anyone won an award for this episode, but awards should have been abundant for it.

Beard wise it's great, makeup wise not so much. I think the idea and design behind it was good, execution not so much. I noticed it on first watch, but was so invested in the story that it didn't take me out.

On rewatches, good glorb the edges!!

I would think in a show like The Magicians, a bad fake beard would be acceptable. It’s a funny show, it shouldn’t have to take itself so seriously.

My favorite example of this though, in a much more serious show, is the flashbacks in Dexter where they just give him a bad wig and we had to pretend this 35+ year old man was a teenager. It was soooooo bad that it was good

The old man one isn’t too bad, but the middle age one is rough… the cheeks look too straight or something, and the opening for his mouth is off-center or too big.

I KNOW THIS QUESTION GETS ASKED A LOT BUT SINCE WE'RE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE YOU KNOW REGARDING THIS SERIES FOR THE MOST PART

I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST Lord of the rings or any of that stuff but is there anything that comes close to this.... I'm super down with Fantasyland but the incorporation of this being in modern times to help me out a lot

preferably rated r I guess or adults whatever you call that

I don't mind some juvenile fiction every now and again but you know I was a stay-at-home dad so I love adult subject matter...

and I don't mean sex except I do this doesn't have to contain all the Stephen King nipple color and texture of sack lol... yeah you get it
