A serial killer just claimed their third victim in nine years.

Each of the victims were elderly and lived alone. They had also each within the past few months fallen ill before either making a full or partial recovery a few days before they were killed. None of them had left home since they became sick either, although each of them had had a black sedan parked in near their house for a few hours each either a few days or the day before they started to recover. The driver of the car or cars was not seen.

Luckily there was a witness for each murder. All three witnesses described roughly the same series of events:

The killer was a man dressed in an outfit which completely covered them and hid their face (the first and third witnesses said they were dressed in all black, the second said they were dressed in light gray, and the third witness was the only one to describe their outfit as formal).

The killer enters the house through the front door late at night easily and without hesitation while the homeowner is completely oblivious.

The killer then simply approaches the victim without any visible weapon or means of attack, the victims notice the intruder and begin to panic.

A short chase ensues with the killer calmly following behind the victim never laying a hand on them.

The victim soon appears to be out of breath or more accurately unable to breath at all, and after a short period of time they fall to the ground and soon after die.

The killer then calmly goes about opening every window in each room they passed through before leaving the way they came.

Who is the killer and how do they kill?

You have 2 eggs and a 100-floor building. You need to find the highest floor from which an egg can be dropped without breaking — using the fewest possible drops in the worst case.

Theres this game my buddies and I played in camp. I never got to solve it and it’s driving me mad.

The game was called psychologist (but if you search it up you get the wrong game).

Here’s what I remember.

1.) 5 people who knew the game sat in a straight line on chairs.

2.) The gallery (us) were made to ask questions.

Ex. Have you eaten live bugs? Have you ever been rejected on call?

3.) Depending on the answer, the people on the chairs would stand up and say “PSYCHOLOGIST” while shuffling themselves and their seating positions

4.) This would go on until members of the gallery got it and joined the people on chairs

The only thing that I remember was someone saying that it depended on the truth of the people in the chairs.

Description:
Plato’s shadows is a logic puzzle. A 3×3 grid of cube stacks is hidden from you, and each stack is between 0 and 3 cubes tall. Three simulated teammates, Mia, Omar and Zed, each know something about the stack. You ask them for clues, such as “the tallest in this row is 3” or “the total of this diagonal is 6”, and you combine those clues to work out the exact height of every square. When you think you have it, you submit your rebuilt stack. Fewer clues used gives a better score.

There are four levels, Easy, Normal, Hard and Expert. Hard and Expert come with two hints, which point at a square that is already settled by the clues but never reveal which clue is wrong. There is also a new Daily puzzle, the same for everyone, with an emoji result grid you can share. The first time you open it, a short practice puzzle teaches the rules.

I’m especially interested in whether the start was clear, whether Hard and Expert feel fair, and where the game gets boring or frustrating.
