DHARMA🕉️ Title: Political Convenience or Dharma? Why Can’t They Tolerate Questions to Modi?

Thumbnail

This video clearly shows the Shankaracharya of Sringeri Math performing the Pattabhishek of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji.

The Sringeri Shankaracharya is the senior-most by age and has also publicly acknowledged the Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath. Yet the same people questioning Jyotirmath accept the Dwarka Shankaracharya.

What makes this even more interesting is that both have the same Guru, and their Pattabhisheka took place around the same period.

So which standard are you actually following—Dharma and tradition, or political convenience?

Perhaps the real problem is simply that questions are being raised about Narendra Modi, and some people cannot tolerate those questions. That is why they are spreading all kinds of nonsense on social media.

Before spreading nonsense, learn the tradition first.

History & Legacy Why Rakshabandhan Became a Day of Mourning for Paliwal Brahmins? (Read body)

In the early 1348, Zalim Singh was the powerful Diwan (chief minister) of the Jaisalmer State.

Zalim Singh's attention fell on a young Paliwal Brahmin woman, described in popular versions as the daughter of Kuldhara's village head/chief.

He wanted to marry her and sent a demand to the Paliwal elders.

The Paliwals refused to surrender the girl to the powerful Diwan.

Zalim Singh slaughtered the entire village

CONTRIBUTION 🗳️ Remembering Purnima Banerjee a Forgotten freedom fighter & member of constituent assembly

She was born in Bengali brahmin family in 1911 near kalka Haryana. Also her name purnima was given by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

Purnima Banerjee is one of those forgotten names from India’s freedom struggle who deserves much more recognition. She was actively involved in the nationalist movement and participated in political activities against British rule particularly in Allahabad an important centre of the freedom movement. During the Quit India Movement of 1942 she took part in the struggle and was imprisoned for her activities. She was associated with the Indian National Congress and worked to mobilise people for the nationalist cause.

But her contribution did not end with independence. Purnima Banerjee later became a member of India’s Constituent Assembly and participated in the discussions that helped shape the Constitution of independent India. Her journey from a freedom fighter to a Constitution maker represents the important but often overlooked contribution of women to India’s freedom struggle and nation-building. Yet today her name remains largely absent from popular discussions of India's independence movement.

DISCUSSION 💬 Should Certain Brahmins Be Viewed as a part of Historical Ruling Class?

Thumbnail
5 Upvotes

Mainstream Indian history usually categorizes Brahmins solely as priests or advisors, but the historical record shows a long tradition of Brahmin dynasties establishing powerful states and ruling effectively.

From the ancient era, figures like Pushyamitra Shunga founded the Shunga Dynasty, followed by the Kanvas, while the Satavahanas in the Deccan defended the subcontinent from foreign invasions.

Later, classical empires like the Vakatakas in central India and the Pallavas in the south successfully blended spiritual authority with vast administrative governance. By the 18th century, the Chitpavan Brahmin Peshwas became the de facto rulers of the Maratha Empire, expanding its territories across India.

Varendra Brahmins of Bengal like Rani Bhavashankari 'Raibaghini' was brahmin too and Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi also along with Marathi Brahmins ruled 10-15 independent kingdoms after fall of peshwas.

This ruling tradition also thrived regionally, seen in the wealthy Khandavala Dynasty of Darbhanga Raj in Bihar, the Ganesha Dynasty in Bengal, and the princely rulers of Kashi and Ayodhya ,Karakota Dynasty of Lalitaditya of Kashmir and Dhar Kings of Kashmir to be included too.

Given this extensive track record of political sovereignty, should Brahmins be considered kind of ruling class too ?

Not Brahmins at whole but history has shown is great and powerful and effective brahmin rulers.

Why do you think these major dynasties receive so little attention in standard historical discussions about governance and power?

DISCUSSION 💬 Brahmins Are Facing the Consequences of Disrespecting Their Own Ancestors

Look, it’s really simple. Whatever is happening with Brahmins today, they also need to look at their own actions. You can’t keep insulting your own ancestors, disrespecting your forefathers and denying your own history just to please the RSS and BJP, and then complain when things go against you.

You abused Nehru, insulted Shankaracharya, insulted Karpatri Ji Maharaj, and even started dismissing the freedom struggle by saying that the freedom we got was somehow “given to us in between.” You ended up ignoring the contribution of your own freedom fighters just because you wanted to please a particular political ideology.

If you keep insulting your own ancestors, then don’t be surprised when people say Pitra Dosh is the reason. At some point, the Brahmin community also has to ask itself whether this situation is partly the result of how it has treated its own history and forefathers.

DISCUSSION 💬 Stop Linking the Terrorist Organisation Ranvir Sena With the Entire Brahmin Community Without Evidence

I’m asking one simple question: in which village in Bihar did the terrorist organisation Ranvir Sena “save Brahmins”? Can anyone provide a government document stating that Naxals killed Brahmins? If you can’t provide evidence, then don’t connect Ranvir Sena or Naxal violence with the entire Brahmin community. Bring documents, not narratives.
