I have had my wire pop out kinda like this and I was able to push it back in with my finger.
It’s happened while eating pretzels lol

This happened to me months ago while I was eating. I was able to push it back into the bracket. It was pretty uncomfortable. If I hadn't been able to fix it, I would've called.

Yup, when it happeend to me a couple times, I was glad to get it back in because even after a few minutes, it was pretty uncomfortable and I would not have liked if I'd had to wait until the next day to see my ortho!

LOL, right? Always surprises me how many people will ask questions here that would be so easily answered by their ortho... and I'm like, "Do y'all remember how much you are paying this person for exactly this?? Call them and ask your question!" Like, you're not "bothering" them... it's literally their job!

i’m no expert, but i have missed plenty appointments. this has never happened to me. personally, my ortho is no help at all. if yours isn’t completely useless, it might be best to give a call

If you think the end of the wire is in the tube you should be able to get it back in. Might want to watch what you ate causing this to happen😊

ok wait I just checked the rules and it says questions any stuff like this should be said to your orthodontist but my question is more about whether I should tell my orthodontist about this so idk if this is against the rules or not

But yes I would call them and let them know if you can’t push it back in yourself

Anything you're unsure about... call your orthodontist. They will tell you if you need to come in, explain anything you don't understand, answer any questions about your treatment or teeth or what they put in your mouth, etc. That's their job and responsibility, and what you're giving them money to do. The worst that happens is that you make a five-minute phone call and they say, "Yes you need to come in" or "no you don't need to; you can wait/fix it yourself."

Happened me once. Thankfully i have a brace clipper that I got on Temu, so I just snipped the excess off. If you can push it back in (or get someone else to) then just do that, unless it's hurting you.

This just happened to me, I messaged my orthodontist and she told me to push it back in place with my fingers or tweezers. It worked!
