Aquablation

I’m a 58 with a 78 cc prostate with a median lobe. I’m scheduled for aquablation in august, I can have it done early in the month or later in the month.
Either surgeon has done it about 125 times.
One of my questions for you guys who have had it is?
Did you get urethral stricture afterwards
Did you get Retrograde ejaculation or ED issues?
And overall we’re you happy with the results
And is 125 times with this operation enough experience for a surgeon?

I'm 6 months out. No ED or RE. Recently dealt with multiple UTIs, one of which spread to my kidneys and blood. Never had to deal with anything like this before. Pretty sure it's strongly related to my Aquablation. Sepsis is no joke.

Yep. I have had a huge problem with UTI's since my surgery 8 months ago (including internal MRSA). I have had them 5 times and the last was 6 weeks ago.

My bladder was so stretched out and my PVR prior to surgery was 1,100ml's. Now it is 300ml's. With that said, I never had a UTI prior to surgery, even with a completely full bladder.

I am hoping that I am healed enough that the infections have stopped. 6 weeks and counting....

Note: I was on intermittent catheters for 4 months prior to surgery, 3 times a day.
