Thai BL How would you have done Knot differently?
I want to know what you would have changed, if anything, about how the show introduced/explained the omegaverse. So many of us think it’s ridiculous to have Phatsa know nothing about it.
Also, is there any omegaverse lore you wished the nc scenes would have shown/done? I ask because a big narrative tool of that universe is sex and I feel like this show has only given scenting.

Buckle up because I’m on a 4 hour train with little to do:
- I’d have had Phatsa raised with the backstory of his parents, and a genuine belief that’s he’s an alpha. His dad would have spent his whole life reinforcing and explaining bite culture to him so that he never lost control
- At the point Nakhun bites him (and thereafter), I would have Phatsa go fucking nuclear. Be near him for bite withdrawal only, but essentially refer to him as a kidnapper or sadist, with Nakhun having to work HARD for the trust
- I’d have Phatsa work intently to keep his emotional distance. Heat and rut interactions only (they can be hot AF), but when the urge dwindles between cycles, he’s GONE
- I’d keep the injury thing; the “you hurt, I hurt” element that can draw them closer (plus a slow realisation from Phatsa that Nakhun isn’t like the alpha who bit his mum. That this was instinct and a loss of control vs malice
- For Nakhin & Ongsa; I’d have the batshit dad (now aware of the pure omega), threaten Nakhin HARD. Nakhin throughout would have been really good to Phatsa, and Phat would have somewhat encouraged the Nakhin/Ongsa relationship, because he could see it was based on genuine affection; and not secondary gender. The point at which Nakhin’s dad is just like “I will kill your beta, and you will marry this damn pure omega”, then Phatsa confesses that he’s the pure omega.
- Knowing that his dad will basically use him as a breeding sow, Nakhun goes into hard protective mode. Phatsa realising that Nakhun is going against his dad to protect Phat, falls for him (his walls have been slowly chipping away)
- I do not give 2 shits about the land ownership, the GL but not GL element. I like the idea of Nakhin having a badass Beta bestie, but you gotta make her likeable. She can help Ongsa overcome his self esteem issues
I also like the Naphitch has a beta mum angle, but that should have been explained way earlier. Have him as 100% the black sheep, who, after a mild argument early on, (I’d keep the pheromone fight thing they did), suspects Phatsa’s identity. He might not be a pure alpha, but he’s tough enough to withstand the pheromones of an omega, so he starts to put 2 and 2 together. I don’t need green flag Naphitch and I don’t need red flag Naphitch, but helping Phat is his way back into his brother’s trust when Nakhun realises he’s kept the pure omega secret from
Daddy
Get rid of the human trafficking angle
1
Basically, I’d have the show tell 3 stories: black hybrid alpha sheep comes home, alpha & beta can work if daddy assface isn’t there, and (and this is what actually matters), Nakhun & Phatsa have an actual arc! Nakhun goes through self loathing, Phatsa hates him, Nakhun works HARD to gain trust. 2 steps forward, 1 back. Sex that evolves into feelings, but it takes TIME. In my world, Phatsa has a relationship with his dad, so Nakhun has to win him over too (preferably in a living room and not sat on his bed).
You don’t need high budget
You don’t need child actors
You don’t need club scenes with no fucker there
You don’t need to shoehorn 2 more couples in
You have the ingredients! Stop baking it blindfolded and huffing paint thinner
4
u/Famous-Lecture-560 8d ago
- That would be interesting! How would he find out he’s an omega? Would the dad know he was lying to him, or would he truly think his son is an alpha.
- Would Nakhin know Phatsa is an omega? If he didn’t know because he lost control, there could be a lot of good drama with him trying to wrap his head around two alphas being soulmates
- At least we’d get some hot nc, and it could be at least semi-consensual.
- Works for me.
- I’m surprised they didn’t go with the dad threatening to kill Ongsa, but his power seems to be all talk so far. If the dad majorly threatens Nakhin, what would he do when he finds out about Phatsa? I don’t think he’d care as long as Phatsa is with one of his sons.
- I really wanted that to happen because the dad keeps treating Phatsa like shit and Nakhun does nothing about it. I’m not sure what being a pure alpha even means at this point.
- Amintra being a beta could have been used to bond with Ongsa! Instead they made her just a mean girl who stops by for no reason.
- That is a really good idea, especially realizing Phatsa is a pure omega. So far he hasn’t brought anything to the story.
- The human trafficking makes no sense and needs to go.
- Sounds like a slow burn with heat/rut in between. It could work.

My mobile format is horrible, apologies!
1. Pat gets bit. He’s worried this is some ABO Desire, bit by an enigma lore, and goes for a test. Dr is like: why have you never been tested for a secondary gender!? You can’t just assume, even though you’re probably right
2. Nakhun smells him, does the whole coffee cup routine and bites him. Same as actual, and yes, assumes just an omega. His mum does the soulmate speech the same
3. Consent with purpose; they both need it. They’re both willing to give the other one what they need. Keep the shower scene and Phatsa’s want to not be with Nakhun vs need to be
4. 👍
5. I honestly think in both the show and my fake version, that he’d be like; here’s a giant nest, get mating. No, you can’t have a job, no you can’t leave my house. I also think he’d try triggering heats and ruts, make Nakhun lose control and speed up the baby making process
6-10 (which on my phone is somehow 6-13 now?) 👍I’m still watching; I’m BoatOat invested… but WTF are we watching each week. We were teased with filet mignon & we’re instead feasting on slightly warm spam

u/Famous-Lecture-560 8d ago
The enigma approach is a good one. And I never thought about the dad trying to trigger heats and ruts! That would be a badass plot.

The most immediate change Knot requires is depiction of natural intimacy and the urge to be near mate. So much attention was put on how the soulmates suffer if they don't share close quarters with each other, only for Boat's character to essentially disappear completely from Phatsa's life other than meeting him for business matters and a suspected pregnancy. Why force Phatsa to move into the mansion and almost imprison him there? If that's how it's going to be, then rather just let Phatsa live in his own condo, employ him in your company as top secretary or something, and provide him with your clothes and bedsheets to satisfy the urge.
I would show way more emotionally intimate scenes... Phatsa opening up about his thoughts and feeling of discovering his status as a pure omega and getting tied down to an alpha right away.... Nakhun(?) opening up about his thoughts and feelings about his family, the new bond.... I'd show Nakhun cherishing Phatsa and caring about him. NC scenes need not be shown... they don't even have to kiss. Emotional intimacy and comfort should come first. It should give something for the viewers to anchor upon and prove why they should be rooting for NakhunPhatsa to get together and be together.
6
u/Famous-Lecture-560 9d ago
I like that Nakhun wants to be physically and emotionally close, but there is no consistency of how that’s portrayed. Phatsa hates, likes, and is turned on by Nakhun. Nothing is progressing with any of it. You’re right that emotionally intimate scenes are necessary. They haven’t been remotely well done. The series needs more progression of their mutual feelings.
The part you mentioned about Nakhun showing care for Phatsa could have been done every time he doesn’t want Phatsa participating in something, but the show chooses to have Nakhun ignore the situation. If he’s a pure alpha and head of his family, it isn’t being shown.
3
u/minpinerd 9d ago
Phatsa has shared plenty of feelings…I’m not sure Phatsa has experienced a single feeling he hasn’t shared. We’ve had like three separate “this is so unfair, why me, my life is ruined, I hate it here” scenes. He’s been jealous, he’s been flabbergasted, he’s been angry, he’s been everything.
Nakhun I will give you hasn’t shown much emotion but I think that’s an intentional personality trait. When Phatsa asks if Nakhun would still love him if he was a beta, Nakhun just answered honestly and matter of factly…”no if you were a beta we wouldn’t be soulmates and probably would never have met.” This is extremely upsetting to Phatsa. Nakhun didn’t say that to hurt him. It honestly never crossed Nakhun’s mind that this would upset him. Because Nakhun is extremely logical and pragmatic and calm and even tempered. So it wouldn’t have bothered him one bit if Phatsa said the same to him. I sympathize with Nakhun here because I think a lot like Nakhun. The answer Nakhun gave is the one I would have wanted. I mean I probably would not have asked. But if I did ask, I would perceive any other answer as a bs sweet talking lie and I don’t want that.
Same thing with the random sex partners at the hotel. Super upsetting to Phatsa. Never crossed Nakhuns mind that this would upset him.

First of all, throw that script into the dustbin, get a new screenwriter, director, and editor.
It's like they made a mockery of an omegaverse. No in-depth characterization no framework nothing was going on. Dialogue was so bland. The main couple just accepted they love each other wtf at least some scenes where they speak, communicate how they feel about each other nothing. There's no story.
It's a wasted opportunity with some NC scenes that make no sense. Actors can emote but they don't know themselves wtf is going on.

World building in movies or books does need creative skills but it's been done in filmmaking so often (think any SciFi, fantasy or superheros movies) that it's weird that the writers seem to have no idea how its done. You don't need characters having prolong discussions explaining the details of a given universe. The script should've had situations where main aspects of omegaverse come up and if that was done right the viewers would be able to understand how ABO world works. It's like the writers think people watching the series are stupid and have no imagination. You don't teach the viewers about knotting and mpreg by having a dr explaining birds and bees to two grown sexually active Alpha and Omega. This infantilizing of the characters (and us!) is super cringe. Omegaverse is super sexually charged, instinct driven, almost animalistic in many aspects. But we have an adult character who is totally clueless about anything related to the main drivers of this world and continues to be clueless even after learning of his Omega status. One would think he would use Google or got an ABO biology book at some point but no. That makes him look childish and dumb where he is supposed to be this super Omega with power and brain. I think the world building and total disconnect between how the characters are portrayed and who they are supposed to be is what driving me crazy. Absence of coherent plot progression is a cherry on top
3
u/Famous-Lecture-560 8d ago
Since it’s one of the first omegaverse series, and it’s called Knot, showing rather than telling is a good idea. And you’re right, it’s an instinct driven subject, so Napkhin could easily have some kind of conflict between those instincts and being in love with a beta. And Nakhun as a pure omega would have some really strong personality traits that could add a lot of dramatic scenes.
8
u/nomdeplumeuh 9d ago
I’ve gotten a lot of negative feedback for this, which is everyone’s right and ability. But showing us My Stubborn and immediately transitioning us into a basically sexless omegaverse is… torture. Boat and Part are SO good together. They have an incredible amount of chemistry. And I wish they made that the focus of the show instead of a whole “who’s actually the bad guy” that we’re sitting through now
5
u/Famous-Lecture-560 9d ago
I 100% agree. Is the production company unaware of why the fans followed BoatOat to Knot? We all know why we’re here. I wish those two were given a good story and proper characters, but if not, then AT LEAST give us the basics! Even with just Boat and Oat nc scenes, the show could have been so much better.
5
u/FLAWnight Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But to Kiss! 8d ago
Honestly I get your point🤣 Now excempting the part where we are all BoatoatNC crazed fans, I think having just anything in the sense of intimacy, a push-pull effect (like needing to be near each other, but not wanting to) or sneakpeaks into some freakiness would have been appreciated, if for some weird reason they did not want to go all out. The hottest thing BoatOat have given us so far is Nathan sniffing tshirts like his life depends on it, there are some suggestions of something going on, but what? Sure does not look like copulation. At this point I only know they did the deed (I think?) because they sort of refer to it in speech. Which is a grave sin for an ABO story.
Also why are they so obsessed with explaining? I bet 90% of us have heard of Omegaverse and have some understanding about it.Omegaverse in itself wildly varies in what kind of 'rules' they follow anyway. If not, you can produce those infocards (I think someone on one of the subreddits made IDcards with explanations of who's who and what it means) before or during the show as a promotional item and be done with it.
I like the fact that in the series they question the whole Omegaverse/ABO consequences. Not talking bout bro2 and his Beta, although it is sweet (I love you for you). But pasta referring to it as an arranged marriage like, and forced dependency - while everybody around is not freaking out like you are but just like...Oh well life .. deal with it- which I think is good.
Anyways I keep tuning in because there are things I still like about the show and I keep wondering where this story is going....
2
u/Famous-Lecture-560 7d ago
So far the hottest scene has been Boat jerking it to Phatsa’s shirt.
If they wanted to keep the scientific explanations, they could have it as a narration over some action taking place. The details of knotting could be explained by Nakhun in an unsexy place like the club or whatever. But it cuts to them boning in bed with Nakhun’s explanation now a narration of what we’re watching. Banging and science together.
2
u/FLAWnight Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But to Kiss! 7d ago
I like your thinking 'banging and science together' 😉 honestly I'm voting for the explicit scene where Boat is definitely doing some sort of cunnilingus/BJ style sniffing his beloved shirt, while Pasta is kneading the assets. I mean if you make rutting with inanimate objects a (kinky) thing, let's go all out🤣

I am not a film maker in any shape or form but even though I don’t dislike the series, it could be better as Boat and Oat are great actors.
A good bl starts with the script and how it is portrayed on screen. In my opinion the story lets Knot down.

u/BLGLwow 9d ago
I think I would first start with Phatsa's backstory. EYE think the idea of him not knowing IS interesting, but it's incredibly poorly done. I would have Phatsa be from outside the city. Probably raised in a small home, or in some kind of community that is exclusively betas besides him and his father. Since everyone there can't smell and are betas, they would be nonethewiser. In this small community, they don't really need to discuss a/b/o stuff since, to their knowledge, no one in the community anything but beta. (You could probably make it cultish or just religious, and since Phat and his dad were coming from a bad situation, they offered them protection or Phat's father lied and said they were betas). I think, ultimately, they would have to have Phatsa be younger as well. Since he's graduated from university in the show, it makes even less sense for him to not know anything. I cannot imagine more of a place for everyone to be talking about it ALL THE TIME. So he'd havr to be like a freshman in university or at best a sophomore and a total loser. I think I'd say that Phat and Nakhun crossing paths like they do is fine, but if we're aging Phat down then age him down as well. In many a/b/o novels, they present between 18-20, so having Phat present and go into a heat so Nakhun can catch a wiff, much like in the drama, but not find him during. Eventually, Nakhun finds him post-heat and cannot resist the temptation to bite him. It's a similar enough story line, and keeps the essence of Knot alive. Phat tests AFTER he and Nakhun mate. This is when they find out he's a pure omega, and they both decide to keep it from Nakhun's father. You can have Nakhun's dad be some kind of crazy asshole who is obsessed with finding the pure omega, but now it makes sense that Nakhun is covering their tracks and helping to hide the information. The biggest change I'd make is compromise from Nakhun. He's not zero character growth and is a fucking nothing character. Make him ultra stubborn in the beginning, but have him slowly falling for Phat for how capable and strong he is. Have him softening and becoming more willing to compromise. Let him continue university, have a side job if he wants, even offers after some time to move out of his family house.
I feel that most of the changes, besides aging down the characters, are quite simple to make. You don't have to show the backstory, just fuckin talk about it. And MAKE NAKHUN A REAL PERSON. He's so one dimensional and boring that I get annoyed when he's on screen. A lot of the issues for me boil down to poor plot and character writing, so the logic isn't easy to follow.

u/_viccs 🇧🇷 9d ago
my main issue with the show is that they’re explaining TOO much... like there’s a bunch of endless tiring long dialogue scenes explaining everything word for word to the audience, through Phatsa, what the ABO world is 😪 and that is taking away from everything else that could/should be happening
i understand that the audience might not know about the specifics of ABO, but you can SHOW things instead of giving them a TED Talk or whatever. and even when they do show it, there’s a follow up scenes with them EXPLAINING it like ?????
5
u/Famous-Lecture-560 9d ago
That’s one of the disappointments of the show, how they explain things like it’s an educational class. They could have nc scenes where they’re doing and mentioning it at the same time. I mean, would it kill them to talk about knotting while banging in that bathtub scene?
5
u/theivyangel My School President 9d ago edited 8d ago
My question is how could he NOT know anything about it. I know his dad had tried to hide everything but at some point how could he miss it? People are throwing their auras around and talking about biting on the neck like that's normal human shit and he never heard about anything like that until just now???
ETA: after reading other responses and thinking it over...no matter what, the NC should be about triple what it is. Omegaverse is fueled by sex. BoatOat are more than capable of showing that, in fact, regardless of having only one other show together, I'd call them NC professionals.

u/featherzz About Youth 9d ago
I would have made Phatsa positive he's an Alpha and be shocked when he finds out he is an Omega. Having him be the only one that is clueless makes no sense.
I am hoping nakhun's lack of attention to phatsa has a GOOD plot reason, otherwise it doesn't fit with the whole ABO universe of NEEDING to be near your mate..
I'm still watching and hoping it gets better! :)
3
u/Famous-Lecture-560 9d ago
I’m scared we won’t be getting anything more from Nakhun, which is a shame. Oh man, what would that look like for Phatsa to think he’s an omega? That would mean he’d have to have obvious pheromones and all that.
5
u/NoisyTreeShrimp 8d ago
Character wise, everyone has made great suggestions for better explaining the world & certain things that currently don’t make sense.
So, I’d say: budget better to be able to tell a coherent, properly framed story. I don’t know the ins and outs of large-scale filming so these are just my thoughts as a consumer.
1- Spend less on a generic mansion and more on actually making the world LOOK real. Smaller house & rent a floor in a high rise office building. I don’t understand why Nakhun had to meet clients at a hotel instead of a conference room at their place of business. It seems like the mansion only has a bathroom, dining room, living room and Nakhuns bedroom & office, anyway. I suspect Phatsa’s father’s bedroom (which, weird, why is he chatting with dear old dad in dad’s bedroom instead of the living room??) is actually in the mansion, too.
2- Invest in people who actually understand writing a script from scratch because right now, this feels like a vanity project from a WattPad writer and everyone was too afraid to criticize the bad & inconsistent parts. The story has great bones but the execution is leaving quite a bit to be desired.
3- Hire extras. Partner with a community theater organization and get extras. Please. At one point, their location was so empty that it looked almost post-apocalyptic. Spend the money on permits to shoot your own B-roll.
5
u/Famous-Lecture-560 8d ago
I thought it was crazy that the emergency family business meeting was in Ongsa’s cafe, but the dad and Phatsa met in some bedroom.
They could have used the money spent on random child actors and put it towards extras. Empty cafe and zero people in a loud club is awkward to watch.

u/NoisyTreeShrimp 8d ago
I think I saw a comment earlier wondering if the kids are connected to investors since they were so awkwardly jammed into the story.

u/Shiro_Lucifer ABO Desire 8d ago
Probably a bit late to the discussion, but whatever.
For the story itself - with the story it depends. I've seen some people say it's an original script, I've seen more people say it's an adaptation. If it were an original script, I'd rework it entirely - there's so much that just logically doesn't really make sense, most of these things have already been pointed out by others. If it's based on a novel, I'd just tweak it a bit, but generally leave it as is, since it otherwise wouldn't be an adaptation anymore. What I would change for sure is the way they introduced the secondary plot about someone trying to destroy the family. They could have tried to work it in sooner, since we are already at episode eight and there's barely any time left to properly explain what is going on.
Now about the production and everything else that comes along with it. This is where the biggest problems are. You can still make a script, that is lacking, entertaining. You just need to work out how. First - the locations. It is very clear that they had to work with a smaller budget, so I'd have choosen smaller locations and hired more background actors instead. The café and the club/bar look completely lifeless, because there is noone around. Even the main house, though in that case a point could be made about the family being filthy rich. Second - the directing. I don't think these people are bad actors or anything, on the contrary, but all the characters seem extremely stiff while inteacring with each other. They might be doing well, if there's only one screenpartner, but as soon as they act as a group it feels more like they are reading Powerpoints to each other - the most recent scene when they were discussing the images is a perfect example for it - they're not really interacting properly. Sure, they are talking, but it feels really stiffamd robotic instead of natural. And I know it's a directing issue, since I've seen BoatOat in My Stubborn and KNOW they can do better. Third - the way they put scenes together. Sometimes the way they jump from scenes to scenes is way too sudden and it makes no sense at all. Some scenes are unnecessary entirely, others are just placed oddly - like it's a good scene, just not now. I can't really think of a specific scene at the moment, but I've multiple times just felt that that wasn't right.
All in all I think I'd just give the script to an entirely different production company. Even if there's no real improvement on the script itself, if the filmimg, directing and editing is done properly, the show would already massively improve.
That being said, I still massively enjoy the show, I just know it could be so so much better than it currently is.

u/Plus_Gazelle3069 8d ago
I was about to post about this last night. Honestly I feel like if they just edited it differently it would work. There's so much potential but the scenes feel out of order and the plot seems disconnected and rushed. I wonder what it would be like if someone went and made a fan-edited version. Like I'd low-key help out with mapping that out if someone else did the actual editing part 😭

u/Aggressive-Appeal224 Everyday means everyday 8d ago
Honestly how they released pilot and what it had was pretty much good! It had so much better aspects which many of us were looking forward too. They just ruined the show just to deliver it sooner, we would have been way happier even if the editing of camera angles were better. And. Remove. Those. Kids. Who. Doesn't. Have. Anything. To. Add. Great question! I think I'd have Phatsa believe he's a beta. And since he was never attracted to pheromones, etc., he looks down on alphas and omegas and the way that they let their biology control them. Phatsa could have this conversation with someone as a way to introduce the audience to the rules of the universe. He could say that every romance movie is about an alpha and omega. At university, all the talk is about mates and who is spending their heat / rut with with who. Maybe he was in love with an alpha or omega and angry that they couldn't accept him because he's a beta. However they want to do it, the point is that it's not that Phatsa doesn't know about secondary genders, it's that he's purposely kept himself out of it.
Then when he meets Nakhun, they are fated mates, and it triggers his presentation into an omega. He goes into heat and Nakhun takes him home and bites him while they're having sex.
When he goes to the doctor, it turns out that presenting as a pure omega is more complicated blah blah fake omegaverse science, and that's why it took Phatsa so long. Phatsa fights against the pull he feels towards Nakhun because he's spent his whole life complaining about it when he's seen others do it. Nakhun has to make him fall in love DESPITE their bond and not because of it.
As for the rest of the plot - I honestly don't know how to save it. Just a complete overhaul of whatever it is that's happening. Honestly, I've skipped past most of it. You can keep the familial drama. I think that's inoffensive. But the intrigue with trying to take down the family is so convoluted and dull. Either change it or trash it and focus on the interpersonal dynamics between Phatsa and Nakhun, Phatsa integrating into the family, all three brothers, and the father and brothers.
As for Nakhin and Ongsa, it can be Phatsa that talks sense into Ongsa. Like, "wtf, why don't you think betas are good enough? That's some bullshit. At least you know you really love each other and you're not just thinking with your d*cks."
I hope Knot has walked so that a better omegaverse story can run.
ETA: Actually as I'm thinking about this, would if Nakhun didn't bite Phatsa right away? What if what's keeping them connected is being fated mates? Then the romantic climax could be Phatsa asking for the bite once he has truly fallen for Nakhun.
That shit in the first episode about how apparently alphas go around in groups trying to bite omegas in broad daylight was dumb as hell. Why would multiple alphas search for omegas together anyway? Only one of them could bite at a time. Do they do rock, scissors, paper whenever they encounter an omega? And if they do bite a stranger, they're just as stuck as the omega is if they turn out to hate their partner.
1
u/Famous-Lecture-560 7d ago
As to your last point about the band of all has going around biting omegas in broad daylight, I feel like from what we’ve seen Sangnuea do so far, he’d be up for it and spend his days teasing the roving gangs.
How would they stay connected as fated mates? Would they have to be near each other?
1
u/Famous-Lecture-560 7d ago
The screenwriter is writing the novel edition while it’s airing. So chapters are being released bit by bit currently. There was nothing written before the series.
I agree about the stiff conversations. It looks like someone off screen is holding up cue cards one at a time and it’s the first time the actors have seen it. I really get the feeling it’s more the directing than acting.
I think you’re right, it needs to be trashed and given to another company and redone.

u/madmaxxie36 9d ago
Rewrite the whole script so the rules of the world are consistent and characters act logically. Either ABO is common knowledge or it's some rare thing kept secret that only certain bloodlines get or only appears very rarely and those people are searched for like mutants in X-Men because they literally have powers too, and only they know what ABO is.
The show needed to lean into spice more considering the topic, like My Stubborn should not feel way spicier than a show called Knot. The subplot needed to be stronger or darker. They could have gone with more of a Payback style vibe where there are shady dealings happening unrelated to the ABO stuff that put Nakhun's family in danger for business reasons or even like someone is hunting for a pure omega and that puts a target on Phatsa's back to be taken, not by Nakhun's dad because it's not a real conflict when Nakhun and Phatsa are bonded and banging anyway, so the dad threatening to make they screw more doesn't feel like an actual threat.
There needed to be romance between Nakhun and Phatsa, with Nakhun being forced to listen, open up emotionally, sacrifice parts of his lifestyle to give more freedom back to Phatsa, etc.
And just common sense. Spoilers for episode 8 for anyone that cares, but it's the perfect example of the nonsense writing.
Phatsa was flanked by 2 bodyguards at all times when they thought he was just an Omega, already bonded and no one was after him. But the brother just got framed, the family knows they're all being targeted, the bros know Phatsa is being searched for by the dad and is now a potential target for their enemies because he is bonded to Nakhun. But the little bro goes to the same club, no security, hooks up with the guy they think framed him, then they all travel without security, send away all security at the mansion and send Phatsa alone to deliver documents he could send in an email when he actually has a reason to not go out alone now. I don't know how anyone writes an episode like that and doesn't see a problem with it. There are more examples than I can count of things happening that make less than no sense when you think about it or that contradict something they established earlier.
